Thought there were some pleasant surprises still in when we started the set. Glad to see Pulse got rid of all of those and we have a pretty basic set of songs left, lol.

The other entry was quite nice, but this one was melodically challenged. What was this about? Growing old? Dying? I'm sure some of you consider this beautiful? I respect that, but it didn't work for me at any level.

Now we are talkin'. This sounded way more like the David Bowie style I'm familar with. It could have used some brass sections to pep it up, but I think it worked fine as is. Was this also about Dead or Dying?

14. Shot at the Night - The Killers
without a doubt one of their best. Brandon Flowers makes the best use of his God given vocal talent. The song is so gorgeous it almost feels like a religous experience.

Question? Does this song belong on this list? F U C K no, but I loved it then and I love it now. I knew it would end up high. Brass and Italo Disco synths work everytime. Once in a great while I still come across a song like this and chart it.

12. Trojans - Atlas Genius
Another crown band on my charts. "Molecules" sits on a throne as one of my favorite songs ever, but this is the one that started it all for them. I recall this one on the alt charts forver. Back then the really good songs spent time climbing up the charts and just soundedbetter with each listen. I will listen to this song on my dying bed and still say it was one of the best of the decade.
