07/3/2022Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti bounces back to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (dated July 9) for a third nonconsecutive week on top, as the set climbs 2-1 in its eighth week. The album earned 115,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending June 30 (down 5%), according to Luminate. With a third week at No. 1, Un Verano Sin Ti has the second-most weeks at No. 1 in 2022, following the Encanto soundtrack, with nine. Un Verano Sin Ti’s third week at No. 1 also marks its third total visit to the top, as the album debuted at No. 1 on the May 21-dated chart, then stepped away from the top slot for three weeks. It then returned to No. 1 on June 18, and then moved aside for two more weeks, until coming back to No. 1 on the new chart. Un Verano Sin Ti is the first album with three separate visits to No. 1 since Drake’s Certified Lover Boy also had three distinct stays at No. 1 in 2021, for a total of five weeks atop the list (three weeks: Sept. 18-Oct. 2, then Oct. 23 and Nov. 6, 2021). The all-Spanish-language Un Verano Sin Ti is also the second mostly-or-all-non-English-language album to spend more than a single week at No. 1. The first was The Singing Nun’s self-titled all-French-language album — it concluded its 10-week run at No. 1 in February of 1964. (They are two of the 15 total mostly-or-all-non-English albums to reach No. 1.) Un Verano Sin Ti has earned over 100,000 in each of its first eight weeks on the chart. The last title to do so was nearly six years ago, when Drake’s Views saw its first 10 weeks all exceed 100,000 units (May 21-July 23, 2016 charts). Un Verano Sin Ti has yet to fall below No. 2 in its eight weeks on the Billboard 200 chart. The last album to spend its first eight weeks on the chart in the top two was Drake’s Certified Lover Boy, which spent its first nine weeks in the top two (Sept. 18-Nov. 13, 2021-dated charts). On the new Billboard 200 chart, Bad Bunny leads a busy top 10, as the latest releases from Luke Combs, Chris Brown, NAYEON and Conan Gray arrive, while Lil Durk’s chart-topping 7220 jumps back into the region following its deluxe reissue with bonus tracks. The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units, compiled by Luminate. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Each unit equals one album sale, or 10 individual tracks sold from an album, or 3,750 ad-supported or 1,250 paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album. The new July 9, 2022-dated chart will be posted in full on Billboard‘s website on Wednesday, July 6 (a day later than usual due to the July 4 holiday in the U.S.). For all chart news, follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram. Of Un Verano Sin Ti’s 115,000 equivalent album units earned, SEA units comprise 114,000 (down 5%; equaling 160.18 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks), and album sales and TEA units comprise less than 1,000 units each. Luke Combs scores both the highest debut of the week and the highest debut for a country album in 2022 as his new studio effort Growin’ Up launches at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The set enters with 74,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, SEA units comprise 44,000 (equaling 56.33 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 12 tracks), album sales comprise 28,000 and TEA units comprise 2,000. Growin’ Up is Combs’ fourth album to reach the top five on the Billboard 200, following What You See Is What You Get (No. 1 in 2019), The Prequel (No. 4, 2019) and This One’s for You (No. 4, 2018). Drake’s Honestly, Nevermind falls 1-3 in its second week on the Billboard 200 with 73,000 equivalent album units earned (down 64%). Chris Brown logs his 12th top 10 album on the Billboard 200, as his latest release Breezy bows at No. 4 with 72,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, SEA units comprise 66,000 (equaling 87.36 million on-demand official streams of the album’s 24 tracks), album sales comprise 5,000 and TEA units comprise 1,000. Lil Durk’s chart-topping 7220 jumps back into the top 10, climbing 18-5 with 68,000 equivalent album units earned (up 217%) after the album was reissued on June 24 with 13 additional tracks. (The album’s total track count now stands at 31.) Harry Styles’ former leader Harry’s House falls 3-6 with 63,000 units (down 21%). NAYEON’s debut solo effort IM NAYEON: The 1st Mini Album debuts at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with 57,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 52,000 (making it the top-selling album of the week); SEA units comprise 4,000 (equaling 6.56 million on-demand official streams of the set’s seven tracks) and TEA units comprise less than 1,000. NAYEON is a member of the vocal group TWICE, which has visited the top 10 two times (Taste of Love: The 10th Mini Album, peaking at No. 6, and Formula of Love: O+T=<3, The 3rd Full Album, No. 3, both in 2021). Like many K-pop releases, the CD configuration of IM NAYEON was issued in collectible deluxe packages (17 total, including exclusive editions for Target and Barnes & Noble), each with a standard set of items and randomized elements (such as photocards, postcards and a poster). 98% of the album’s first-week sales were on CD. The other 2% were digital album sales. (The set was not released in any other format, such as vinyl or cassette.) Morgan Wallen’s former No. 1 Dangerous: The Double Album falls 5-8 with 51,000 equivalent album units earned (down 3%). Conan Gray lands his second top 10 album on the Billboard 200 as his sophomore full-length effort Superache starts at No. 9 with 43,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprise 27,000; SEA units comprise 16,000 (equaling 22.47 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 12 tracks), and TEA units comprise less than 1,000. Rounding out the new top 10 is Future’s former No. 1 I Never Liked You, which falls 6-10 with 43,000 equivalent album units earned (down 12%). Luminate, the independent data provider to the Billboard charts, completes exhaustive and thorough review of all data submissions used in compiling the weekly chart rankings. Longest chart run in the top 10 1956-present
(1959-1963 there were separate stereo and mono charts) - Pre 1963 charts for this list based on Mono - to avoid double counting

Since 1990 - Adele-21 is the only longer chart run. Since 1980 - only 4 albums longer (Thriller, Born In The USA, Hysteria, 21) The rest are from the 60s or older

Don't know if this is the first time has happened since, but with this week's numbers any of the albums in the top 10 this week would have been #1 over the Descendants OST low record 42k equivalent albums for a #1 in the Billboard 200 set for the 8/22/2015 dated chart.

http://instagram.com/p/Cfk7LRVMO_i What if he just appreciated his fans more? Just a thought..... Also, imagine being so out of touch that #4 debut on BB200 and #6 in the UK is bad.

Nayeon possibly the highest charting full-Asian solo ever?
Per Billboard, Charice was the first Asian top 10 album back in 2010, and that hit #8.

I don't like his Instagram message pretending that he was ever 'gangsta' he's from the same area I am from and the arrested development rants are just disappointing. His last era he had one of his biggest hits of his career (Go crazy or whatever it's called)...unfortunately. Maybe the music didn't connect this era. He needs to grow up and be thankful that he still has fans willing to support him despite his many messups.

Luke Combs Halts Morgan Wallen’s Reign at No. 1 on Top Country Albums Chart Plus, the set's "The Kind of Love We Make" becomes Combs' fifth leader on Hot Country Songs.
BY JIM ASKER
LLuke Combs nets his fourth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart as his third full-length, Growin’ Up, blasts in atop the July 9-dated survey, unseating Morgan Wallen.
In its initial week, ending June 30, Growin’ Up, released June 24, earned 74,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate. Of that sum, streaming equivalent album (SEA) units comprise 44,000 (equaling 56.33 million on-demand official streams of the set’s 12 tracks), album sales account for 28,000 and track equivalent albums (TEA) amount to 2,000.
On the all-genre Billboard 200, the set starts at No. 2, marking Combs’ fourth top 10. It makes the highest entrance for a country LP in 2022 and logs the top unit sum for a country album’s debut week this year.
The album, which Combs co-produced with Chip Matthews and Jonathan Singleton, follows his sophomore effort What You See Is What You Get, which charged in at the Top Country Albums apex (Nov. 23, 2019) with 172,000 equivalent album units, including 109,000 in sales. That title was bolstered by a deluxe edition issued in October 2020 with six new songs, helping spark its 37-week reign.
Before that, Combs’ This One’s for You arrived atop the chart dated June 24, 2017, with 43,000 units. It followed his This One’s for You EP, which debuted at No. 36 in December 2015 and peaked at No. 24 in May 2017. A deluxe version of the full-length, released in June 2018, spurred the set’s top weekly unit count (55,000), as the LP logged 50 weeks at No. 1, tying Shania Twain’s Come On Over for the most weeks at the summit until Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album amassed 63 weeks so far (as it drops to No. 2 on the July 9 ranking).
Combs achieved his second Top Country Albums No. 1 when The Prequel bowed on top on June 22, 2019, with 48,000 units.
Concurrently, the sophomore single from Growin’ Up, “The Kind of Love We Make,” rises 2-1 in its second week on Hot Country Songs, which combines airplay, streaming and sales data, becoming Combs’ fifth leader. It dominates Country Streaming Songs for a second frame, drawing 15.1 million U.S. streams (up 11%). It sold 5,000 downloads and likewise adds a second week atop Country Digital Song Sales. On Country Airplay, it hops 15-13 (10.7 million impressions, up 15%).
Combs dons his first Hot Country Songs crown since “Forever After All” wrapped a 10-week command in July 2021, after it opened at the summit in November 2020. He previously led with “When It Rains It Pours” for two weeks starting in November 2017; “Beautiful Crazy” (11, beginning in March 2019); and “Better Together” (three weeks, February 2021).
The lead single from Growin’ Up, “Doin’ This,” became Combs’ record-extending 14th consecutive career-opening No. 1 single on Country Airplay in May. It peaked at No. 2 on Hot Country Songs in April.
‘Heads’ Up Cole Swindell earns his 12th Hot Country Songs top 10 as “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” jumps 13-6. It makes a twin 13-6 surge on Country Streaming Songs (9.3 million, up 32%) and pushes 4-2 on Country Digital Song Sales (5,000, up 22%), as a new lyric video for it premiered June 23, and holds at its No. 26 Country Airplay high (5.2 million, up 24%).
The single follows Swindell’s Lainey Wilson duet “Never Say Never,” which topped Country Airplay for two weeks beginning in April, becoming his seventh No. 1, and hit No. 2 on Hot Country Songs the same month.
“Carolina,” which Swindell co-authored, pays homage to Jo Dee Messina’s maiden single, “Heads Carolina, Tails California,” which rose to No. 2 in May 1996.

Thanks, Gary.
This week's biggest Billboard 200 dropper is Logic's Vinyl Days, down 175 spots to No. 187. Among last week's top 20 debuts, The Smile's A Light For Attracting Attention drops off the chart from No. 19.

Coheed and Cambria Claim Fourth No. 1 on Top Hard Rock Albums Chart 'Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind' opens atop the latest list.
BY KEVIN RUTHERFORD
CCoheed and Cambria log their fourth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Hard Rock Albums chart with Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind, which debuts atop the July 9-dated ranking.
The set starts with 19,000 equivalent album units earned in the June 24-30 tracking week, according to Luminate. Of that sum, 15,000 are from album sales.
Coheed and Cambria, fronted by Claudio Sanchez, first ruled Top Hard Rock Albums with 2010’s Year of the Black Rainbow. The act reigned again with 2015’s The Color Before the Sun and 2018’s The Unheavenly Creatures.
Concurrently, Vaxis starts at No. 2 on Top Alternative Albums and No. 3 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums.
On the all-format Billboard 200, Vaxis opens at No. 23, marking the band’s 10th entry on the survey. The group has reached No. 5 highs twice, with Rainbow and 2012’s The Afterman: Ascension.
Vaxis track “The Liars Club” concurrently starts at No. 25 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. It follows the set’s “Shoulders,” which hit No. 20 last August.
“Liars” drew 475,000 official U.S. streams and garnered 269,000 radio audience impressions June 24-30. It peaked at No. 21 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart dated June 11 and currently ranks at No. 28. “Shoulders” reached No. 9 on Mainstream Rock Airplay in December, marking the first top 10 for the band, which first appeared on the chart in 2004.

Elvis Presley Shakes Up Billboard Charts After ‘Elvis’ Movie Premiere 'Elvis' tops the Soundtracks chart, while Presley's streams gain 67% in the U.S. in the wake of the film's bow, according to Luminate.
BY KEITH CAULFIELD
TThe new Elvis Presley biopic Elvis shakes up Billboard’s charts dated July 9, following the film’s U.S. premiere in movie theaters on June 24. Its multi-artist soundtrack – led by Presley – makes a splash on a number of rankings, including a chart-topping bow on Billboard’s Soundtracks tally. Meanwhile, Presley’s 2002 hits compilation Elvis: 30 #1 Hits returns to the top 40 on the Billboard 200 albums chart for the first time in 19 years.
Plus, Presley’s catalog of songs posted a 67% increase in on-demand official streams in the U.S. in the week ending June 30 (growing to 27.04 million), according to Luminate. His most-streamed song of the week was “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
Additionally, Doja Cat’s contribution to the Elvis soundtrack, “Vegas,” moves up a number of tallies. It hits the top 40 for the first time on both the Billboard Global 200 and the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100 and reaches the top 10 on Hot Rap Songs.
Here’s a look at the latest coronations and other notable moves regarding the late King of Rock & Roll.
‘Elvis’ Soundtrack Arrives: The Elvis soundtrack, released via RCA Records, opens at No. 1 on the Soundtracks chart and also takes a bow on Top Rock & Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums (No. 4 on both), Top Current Album Sales (No. 30), the Billboard 200 (No. 26) and Top Album Sales (No. 35).
Elvis earned 18,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending June 30. Of that sum, streaming equivalent album (SEA) units comprise 13,000 (equaling 18.25 million on-demand official streams of the set’s tracks), album sales comprise 3,000 and track equivalent album (TEA) units comprise 2,000.
On the Billboard 200, the Elvis soundtrack – billed as by Elvis Presley & Various Artists – gives Presley his 58th top 40-charting album. That ties him with Frank Sinatra for the most top 40 albums on the list since it began publishing on a regular, weekly basis in 1956. Right behind Presley and Sinatra are Barbra Streisand (with 54), Grateful Dead (52) and Bob Dylan (51).
In total in the week ending June 30, Presley’s catalog of albums (excluding the Elvis soundtrack) earned 30,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. (up 76.2% from 17,000 the previous week). Of that 30,000-unit sum, album sales comprised 9,000 (up 80.9% from 5,000).
’30 #1 Hits’ Album Rebounds: Presley’s chart-topping greatest hits compilation, Elvis: 30 #1 Hits, leaps from No. 103 to No. 33 on the Billboard 200 – returning to the top 40 for the first time since February of 2003. It spent three weeks atop the chart upon its release in 2002.
The set also bolts 37-1 on Catalog Albums (after leading the list for one week in 2005), 21-5 on Top Rock & Alternative Albums, 18-5 on Top Rock Albums and 12-7 on Top Country Albums. It additionally re-enters the Top Album Sales chart at No. 47. In total for the week, the album earned 17,000 equivalent album units (up 74%).
Elvis: 30 #1 Hits was first released in 2002 as a 31-track album (containing 30 previously released hits as well as the then-new JXL Radio Edit Remix of the 1968 song “A Little Less Conversation”). In 2022, the album was reissued in an expanded edition with nine bonus tracks, making the 30 #1 Hits album have a total of 40 songs.
Elvis: 30 #1 Hits debuted atop the Billboard 200 dated Oct. 12, 2002, and marked Presley’s 10th and most recent No. 1 album on the list – and his first No. 1 since 1973’s live album Aloha From Hawaii Via Satellite. (Meanwhile, “Conversation” hit No. 1, for three weeks, on Hot Singles Sales, No. 26 on Adult Pop Airplay and No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2002.)
Streaming the Hits: Presley’s catalog of songs garnered 62.04 million on-demand official streams globally in the week ending June 30 – up 53% from the week previous (40.49 million). The U.S. accounted for about 44% of Presley’s streaming activity in the week ending June 30 – with 27.04 million on-demand official streams (up 67% from 16.14 million a week earlier).
Presley’s top three most-streamed songs in the U.S., by on-demand official streams, for the week ending June 30 were “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (2.3 million; up 35%), “Suspicious Minds” (1.99 million; up 69%) and “Jailhouse Rock” (1.4 million; up 51%).
Globally, the Tupelo, Miss.-born Presley’s three most-streamed songs for the week (again, by on-demand official streams) were “Can’t Help Falling in Love” (6.15 million; up 27%), “Suspicious Minds” (4.17 million; up 57%) and “Jailhouse Rock” (3.6 million; up 37%). (U.S. streaming figures are included in the global numbers.)
Meanwhile, on the Song Charts: On Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart, Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love” debuts at No. 11, while “Suspicious Minds” enters at No. 12. Over on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs tally, they bow at Nos. 16 and 17, respectively. (Both charts blend streaming, airplay and sales data.)
“Can’t Help Falling in Love” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1962, while “Suspicious Minds” became Presley’s seventh and final No. 1 on the Hot 100, topping the list in 1969. (His recording career predates the chart’s 1958 inception.)
Viva Las ‘Vegas’: Doja Cat’s contribution to the Elvis soundtrack, “Vegas,” makes strides on Billboard’s charts. It hits the top 40 for the first time on both the Billboard Global 200 (rising 45-35) and the U.S.-based Billboard Hot 100 (67-34), and reaches the top 10 on Hot Rap Songs (13-7). On the Hot 100, it’s Doja Cat’s 12th top 40-charting song.
“Vegas” garnered 10.82 million on-demand official U.S. streams in the week ending June 30 (up 16%). Globally, the track earned 22.32 million (up 10%).
The song, which interpolates Presley’s classic “Hound Dog,” is being promoted to pop radio by RCA as of July 11. It gained by 68% in plays on stations that report to Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, where it’s so far bubbling under, in the June 27-July 3 tracking week.

NAYEON Launches at No. 1 on Top Album Sales Chart With Debut Effort "IM NAYEON" starts with 2022's largest sales week for an album by a woman or female-led act.
By Keith Caulfield
07/8/2022NAYEON’s debut solo effort IM NAYEON: 1st Mini Album bows atop Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart (dated July 9) with the largest sales week of 2022 in the U.S. for an album by a woman or female-led act. The set starts with 52,000 copies sold in the U.S. in the week ending June 30, according to Luminate. NAYEON is the first member of the K-pop girl group TWICE to release a solo album. TWICE is no stranger to the Top Album Sales chart, having notched four charting efforts, including the No. 1 Taste of Love: The 10th Mini Album in 2021. Also in the top 10 on Top Album Sales: new efforts from Luke Combs, Conan Gray, Coheed and Cambria, Jack Johnson and Porcupine Tree arrive, while Tyler, the Creator and Kanye West surge back into the top 10 following vinyl releases. Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart ranks the top-selling albums of the week based only on traditional album sales. The chart’s history dates back to May 25, 1991, the first week Billboard began tabulating charts with electronically monitored piece count information from SoundScan, now Luminate. Pure album sales were the sole measurement utilized by the Billboard 200 albums chart through the list dated Dec. 6, 2014, after which that chart switched to a methodology that blends album sales with track equivalent album units and streaming equivalent album units. For all chart news, follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram. CD album sales comprised 98% of IM NAYEON’s total first-week sales, while the remaining sales were in digital album purchases. The seven-track album was not released in any other physical configuration (such as vinyl or cassette tape). Like many K-pop releases, the CD configuration of IM NAYEON was issued in collectible deluxe packages (17 total, including exclusive editions for Target and Barnes & Noble) each with a standard set of items and randomized elements (such as photocards, post cards and a poster). Luke Combs’ new album Growin’ Up debuts at No. 2 on Top Album Sales with 28,000 copies sold, while Conan Gray’s latest release, Superache, starts at No. 3 with 27,000. Tyler, the Creator’s former No. 1 Call Me If You Get Lost re-enters the chart at No. 4 with 24,000 (up 8,090%) after the set was released on vinyl to all retailers. Its vinyl LP was previously only sold through his official webstore. Effectively all of the album’s sales for the week were on vinyl, and it also re-enters at No. 1 on the Vinyl Albums chart. In total, Call Me If You Get Lost has sold 76,000 copies on vinyl — all in 2022 — and is the No. 6 best-selling vinyl LP of the year. BTS’ Proof falls 1-5 in its second week on Top Album Sales, with 16,000 sold (down 69%). Kanye West’s Donda re-enters at No. 6 with nearly 16,000 sold following the album’s release on vinyl. The four-LP set sold for about $60. Harry Styles’ former No. 1 Harry’s House dips 2-7 with 15,000 sold (down 32%). Coheed and Cambria’s latest studio effort Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind bows at No. 8 with nearly 15,000 sold. Jack Johnson’s new Meet the Moonlight enters at No. 9 with 11,000 and Porcupine Tree’s Closure / Continuation starts at No. 10 with 10,000. In the week ending June 30, there were 1.848 million albums sold in the U.S. (down 12.3% compared to the previous week). Of that sum, physical albums (CDs, vinyl LPs, cassettes, etc.) comprised 1.445 million (up down 16.3%) and digital albums comprised 403,000 (up 5.6%). There were 684,000 CD albums sold in the week ending June 30 (down 2.5% week-over-week) and 751,000 million vinyl albums sold (down 26%). Year-to-date CD album sales stand at 16.886 million (down 10.7% compared to the same time frame a year ago) and year-to-date vinyl album sales total 19.402 million (up 1%). Overall year-to-date album sales total 46.944 million (down 8.4% compared to the same year-to-date time frame a year ago). Year-to-date physical album sales stand at 36.543 million (down 4.7%) and digital album sales total 10.401 million (down 19.6%).
