This is a bop! Like the majority here, I do wish Britney had more solo parts but I’m able to hear her all over this track…I think we all got spoiled with Dua having her own parts for Cold Heart that we’re not appreciating this full-fledged duet moment.

This is a good perspective! I do think the vocal production is odd, but this is still very cute & definitely a fun track. I hope it’s a hit! Hopefully it would encourage Brit to do more music on her own terms this time.

I love how they went with a single cover using a picture of Britney as, literally, a ‘tiny dancer” lol

This song is excellent! A bop! I'm expecting this to be a big hit on the pop charts and better yet, a potential to debut at number 1 on the Hot 100!

This is cute, better than I expected overall. However But what is going on with the vocals? The way they've mixed and layered them, it sounds like two indecipherable androids harmonizing. This was my impression too. I get that modifying them is good for a song like this, but they sound too smushed. I can tell who is singing, but for two singers who have very distinctive voices, it's very impersonal.

Yeah, I think it’s going to be massive because it’s subtle in a way.
Talk about the perfect wedding dance floor song.

This is cute. Very chill. I can see why people are a little unhappy with the vocals not being very prominent though. I’m assuming they wanted it to sound super chill and airy. Everything kind of blends together in the track. I still like it though.

I understand the problems with vocals in this song - both vocalists are so far away from their prime time vocals, that it had to be buried under the production and technology. That is why this mixed-up-song is the only chance for them to have a hit. Elton has proved it several times, that his current vocals are pretty much unlistenable and I guess what vocal form are Britney´s chords is anybody´s guess. I don´t think HMC will repeat the success of CH as the latter was absolutely top notch pop song and improved the original ones. HMC is not improving anything as both The One and Tiny Dancer cannot be touched by subpar Elton or has any Britney song has been even close to these pop masterpieces.

I'm more curious how it does on its first day of streaming and beyond. Unfortunately iTunes means very little anymore.

I hate that people have ridiculed Britney's voice so much that she has no confidence despite being one of the most successful and recognizable voices in pop music EVER. She had some amazing vocals on Glory and she sounds great here too. Wish they'd each taken a verse so their voices could shine separately, but this is still cute. I hope it does well enough to encourage her to get back into the studio and give us more.

Also, her solo vocals at the beginning of the chorus on the demo/leak version ( "Hold me closer, tiny dancer, count the headlights on the highway...") were H E A V E N L Y and would have provided a good jaw-dropping moment if left solo on the final mix. "Wayment... is that the Princess of Pop, BRITNEY SPEARS?!"

Britney has one of the most iconic voices of all time. It’s what actually made her songs so good.

I of course wish as well she got at least one solo verse (the way she sings 'drunken nights in dark hotels' is particularly heavenly), but alas

Is the amazon music version different then the version everyone is hearing.
It sounds like something is off with it slurred vocals. Then we finally hear britney then processed vocals. It's horrific.
Britney is missing from the song and you only have to hear eltons it's weird and gross.
Doesn't even sound like him. The only thing about Cold Heart that helped him is the remixer used his orginal vocals.
Britney should be the standout on this track not him. He sounds horrible.

Neither vocal stands out or sounds great. It almost like the production of the song overshadows the vocals.

It’s nice to see Britney get a comeback single with Elton John but the single is a bit of an disappointment compared to Cold Heart. It’s a good way for Britney to get her name back out there in music with this although.

To answer your earlier question, when I have this cranked up on my speakers at home in Atmos, it sounds pretty pristine, so idk. At least, they didn't remove any instruments like they did for Tucked by Katy Perry. The more I play, the more I like.

Not sure what anyone else is hearing, but Britney’s voice sure sounds clear to me. It’s a bop. I hope it does well.
