It'd be cool to see Beyonce and Britney in the top 10 at the same time. The last time that happened was in 2009 (11/21), when Britney's "3" was at #8 and Beyonce's "Sweet Dreams" at #10.

These two sources are known to be inaccurate.
kworb did use livepopbars as a source for a while, but after a certain "freeze" a few years ago, it was found that the data from livepopbars follows a pre-determined statistical estimation, so it was never used again.

I know all that. It's actually stated on the DSD website..."the following figures have been generated by a statistical model"...I like Stats...it is still a very useful guide.

RUTH physical releasing for next 9/17 chart week is interesting because airplay will be lower across the board (Labor Day weekend). The discount should’ve happened in conjunction with the physical release, not this week. Perhaps the physical sales will be enough, but it’s odd all the promos aren’t aligned for one big week. It’d be a great story if it does hit #1

I won’t get my hopes up that this can get RUTH to number one. Sure, i’m surprised Kate Bush’s team are actually trying these tactics, especially when the gap is the smallest in the several times it could have gone number one, but then you have to factor how the boost could be smaller than those other times, especially when now she doesn’t have the airplay gains to back her up. She will be locked for a #2 peak on the Hot 100 though, barring Steve Lacy’s team does something.

It may not happen, but at least they're trying it and also timing it fairly well.

I think RUTH has the #1 in the bag. It only needs about 220-225 points to beat out AIW, which will be in its 23rd week. Don't forget that in IB's week at #1, it beat out Stay in its 14th week with 325-330 points.

No they don't. Mediabase uses their own figures and tracks more stations. Billboard uses figures from Nielsen, which tracks fewer stations than Mediabase.

If RUTH doesn’t go to #1 soon I’m wondering if it will when the last season of Stranger Things is released as long as it’s featured again throughout it. Would be crazy cool but a #3 peak is also cool.

I doubt RTUH will still be charting by the time the last season will get here. It's at 33 weeks and the producers say we won't see new episodes until late 2023/early 2024

Season 5 will take place in 1987 or later based on projected timelines. Doubtful they’ll use RUTH for that season.
