This is still her best collab this decade, in a perfect world it would've been a multi-week pop, HAC, and Hot 100 number one. Hazy pop perfection (although most of it is because of how immaculate the original version was).

I think it's a bit ridiculous to think Swift could have any control over this. She has a right to do as many or as little shows as she wants. She has a right to design her show and stage to fit her vision of what she wants it be. She doesn't owe us a 200 date tour. the few mom and pop venues that don't use Ticketmaster would mean a much smaller scale tour. And it's not her problem to ensure every single fan or certain segment of fans can buy a ticket. First come, first serve! Her team asked if Ticketmaster could accommodate the demand. Swift's team doesn't need to be analysts and poke holes in the response of Ticketmaster. The team was assured they could do it and that's enough due diligence in my book. I do hate how scalpers buy up these tickets and resale them at astronomical prices. But again, how is this Swift's problem? Is she suppose to sell tickets from her website? Oh wait, she can't do that because the venues have contracts with companies to do this. Anyway, her statement was fine. I'm sure swift could brainstorm things she could do, but really? does she have to be the artist, logistics planner, software engineer, marketing firm, set builder etc? That's a bit unrealistic. 1000000% Taylor/label are basically clients in this situation. Sounds like they asked if the demand could be handled, they were told yes. I'm sure they were given 'proof' of scale. This has nothing to do with the artist, but she's ultimately the face of it, so has to deal with the fallout. It wouldn't even be slightly worth it to try and take something like this 'in-house', it's an entire business. Just a s**tty situation for everyone involved and one where all parties should be putting pressure on Ticketmaster, not the artist. All of that said... the kind of demand I'm reading about is surely unprecedented, something was bound to mess up somewhere.

So it seems selfish to ask for more, but since Taylor is there anyway to collect her hardware I would have loved an Anti-Hero performance at the AMA’s.

The only plausible explanation for this is that she has been contracted to "debut" the first live performance of the song on another show. I'm guessing they'll announce her on SNL for the 12/10 or 12/17 show.

I might be speaking out of turn, but at least there will be a lot to be thankful for on Thanksgiving, despite the Eras Tour ticketing fiasco. A nice cozy cabin, a warm fire, some good friends and an acoustic listen thru Evermore sounds like the best way to celebrate the holiday I can think of.

Crazy to me that Taylor is appearing at even the most random of award shows but there still has been no live performances from the album. I guess she's saving it for the tour? It's less than 4 months away after all.

For a reason, her entire 2022 award show appearances era feels like a campaign for the Grammy for Best Music Video / Oscar for Best Short Film than Midnights era promo.

Midnights is basically a self-promoting product for now. It would only begin to really need more hands-on promo after Christmas/New Year passes. Lavender Haze video in January and maybe a Grammy performance?

Really surprised she didn’t capitalize on her AMA wins by making a big announcement or performing a new song. Maybe she wants the tour drama to blow over first. I thought forsure she would have announced the Vinyl 3AM version by now or at least by Black Friday

"Would've, Could've, Should've" really is another "All Too Well" level song. I understand why it wasn't on the standard edition, as production-wise it would disrupt the album's cohesion and I think that cohesiveness was a big goal with this album. With that said, the song is so strong both lyrically and in terms of production. Plus the way the song swells, how effectively emotive Taylor's vocals are help make the song such a beautifully painful listen. <3

Lmao jk. I absolutely agree that it is a fantastic song and is definitely a career highlight.

Thank you for noticing and unnecessarily passive aggressively bringing it to my attention! Here's the recognition you wanted for that. =)

Admittedly, it wasn't one of my top songs when the album first came out but it quickly grew on me. Taylor is fantastic at her storytelling.

"Dear Reader" and "Sweet Nothing" have really grown on me in these past few weeks, while my previous favorite "Midnight Rain" has worn on me a little bit.

Would've Could've Should've and High Infidelity has been the two songs that I return to the most lately, even more than Anti-Hero.

The Great War, Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve, Bigger Than The Whole Sky, High Infidelity and honestly even Paris all should have been swapped into the standard version over songs that made it. Cohesion aside, they are much better songs to me than a majority of the standard record and elevated the album from OK to “this is wonderful stuff.”

The only 3AM track I would even think about putting on the album proper is "Would've Could've Should've"

You're On Your Own Kid is really about to overtake Would've Could've Should've as my favorite from the album, that bridge especially is a winner. The Great War, Would’ve Could’ve Should’ve, Bigger Than The Whole Sky, High Infidelity and honestly even Paris all should have been swapped into the standard version over songs that made it. Cohesion aside, they are much better songs to me than a majority of the standard record and elevated the album from OK to “this is wonderful stuff.” Sweet Nothing, vigilante shit, and Question...? definitely should've have been 3am tracks instead. I'd throw Karma in the box too cause lyrically its a trainwreck but its melodically a total bop so I'm conflicted lol.
