She’s a champ for staying grounded because all of this success would send a lot people in to the biggest ego trip of their lives. LOL she is a admitted narc it’s probably what gives her daily satisfaction! You can see the ego trip in her life though but she’s rich and famous, feeling herself a lot. Dating a racist/sexist/etc (everything she claimed to be against) who gets off on brutalizing porn of black women so publicly says she is very much feeling untouchable and is very aware. get of here hater. |

With all the Taylor-gating that's been going on outside the venues, her team should consider a distribution deal to play in theatres for a limited IMAX run or something once the tour is completely done. Charge $30-40 a ticket and people will definitely show up, especially those who either couldn't afford to go, or those who saw it live and can't get enough. I worked at a movie theatre in college and when the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus and Jonas Brothers concerts were released in theatres in 3D, they were pretty big events for fans and we were quite busy for them for the limited time they were shown in theatres. Hannah grossed $70.6 mil ( $65.2m in the US, $5.4m int'l) and Jonas grossed $23 mil ( $19m US, $4m int'l) by the end of their theatrical runs. If memory serves me, ticket prices for those were just the regular 3D prices at the time, but Taylor could get away with charging more. |

It's the "that was my very first post about anyone other than Kelly Clarkson and it was negative, and my response to being called out is to neg the fans of the artist I have only expressed negative stances towards and claim I'm the victim" for me. There were several ways to go about refuting the claim that she's grounded (I mean, clearly she's not given those private jet stats), and somehow you chose the only one that was both sexist towards Taylor (for bringing her only rumored boyfriend's wrongdoings into a discussion only about her, as if she's responsible for what a man does) and hateful towards... everyone involved somehow. That's why your post rubbed people the wrong way, NOT because it's "the truth." The truth is actually that, yeah, she's definitely not a humble down-to-earth America's sweetheart that can do no wrong and is innocent and pure, but given the upbringing and success that she's had and continues to have, she's about as all of those things as she could be. The extreme vast majority of people in her position would be major divas/assholes and the world would be very aware of those things. (Madonna isn't known to be nice and normal, for an example of someone else with similar success and fame.) Like most things, it's a gray area, not black and white/good and bad. On a slightly different note, I swear, I've seen way more hate towards Taylor, who as far as I know hasn't been confirmed to have any romantic connection towards Matty Healy, than towards Matty himself. It's gross. Yeah, even if they aren't dating, The 1975 is still opening for Taylor and she is somewhat involved, but only very loosely. Barring switching them out to someone else (which logistically sounds like a nightmare and would probably take some time to do and involves many, many other people), I don't see what else she specifically should be doing? Anyway, that's my rant on all of this. Go back to streaming Cruel Summer for clear skin and all that. (Maybe through favorite kind of high in rotation too?) |

I’ve always enjoyed Taylor’s music but have never been a huge fan and would never have thought about fighting the crowds to see her in concert. That being said….these videos of her on tour. She is killing it. She is absolutely genuine and kind and giving it her all. Pouring rain or clear skies, she is always there. I am starting to stan. I love artists that are just genuinely nice people and Taylor is clearly that.
