+31 from AAA rankdown and a very consistent top 10 contender. This slightly grew on me. At some parts his vocals remind me of John Newman actually.

How did this song get a bottom 10 rank in the midst of 11~50 ranks? Absolutely robbed imo.

Does the meteoric rise of Zach Bryan help boost his songs in the rankdowns (+53 from AAA rankdown) due to increased familiarity? Discuss. Honestly for me, this is kind of the reason this song got a boost on my list compared to AAA lol. Like him rising to fame kind of made me listen to this song again with a different idea of it, and I ended up enjoying it more this time around. I will say though that a lot of times I'll hear a song in a rankdown and then hear it for a later rankdown and it'll grow on me more. Also, while my rank here was quite higher than in AAA (#48), my rating went from a 3.5/5 to a 4 - so part of the large boost was also just due to it being a different list.
1 2 3 7 8 9 11 14 17 36, really solid top 10! about what I expected to see but still.

I mean obviously I knew Stapleton would have an inherit advantage...
But I didn't think Arkansas would make the top 10 lmao

I'm glad Arkansas and Cold made top 10, along with Yola and Amythyst Kiah, also Hypotheticals is a W. Great top 10 overall.

+20 from AAA rankdown. I would prefer any of the top 25 songs except Jade Bird's to be top 10 instead of this Condolences to your #1 loss, razorshark .

(It's SNL.) I would rank any of the three entries from Brandi Carlile higher. As for this? She literally said she made this the same way as The Joke, but I feel the product is lesser this time. (+25 from AAA rankdown)

(It's CMA Awards and CMA Christmas.) I enjoy their throwback soul jam. Can't wait to listen to their major label debut album next year.

I like Chris Stapleton but Starting Over era is not that good imo, especially this song which sounds he can do it in his sleep. Condolences to your #1 loss, Triple 9 .

As seen from 2021 March Madness. Still powerful when I listen to it now. Again the last movement is brutal. The top 4 will consist of two artists .

The Top 2:Starting Over vs Diamond Studded Shoes Two #1's (from tim and ccarter1023 ) remain. The lowest SD wins this. It's not even close.

I really have the worst remaining ranks out of all participants lol If we are ranking the CMA Awards live version of Starting Over, it would be much higher because I think this song benefits from being the stripped down moment. I'll never fully embrace Diamond Studded Shoes. It's not bad but I always feel this song is overrated. Not even among the best songs from the parent album for example. Condolences to tim for your #1 loss, and congratulations to ccarter1023 for the perfect ranking for your #1. (+20 from AAA rankdown for Diamond Studded Shoes)
