I tried really hard to like this but his voice is just nails on a chalkboard for me. I can’t get past it.

Really solid EP, but they should've just went with a full record imo. They only needed like 2 more songs anyway. Either way, his star is bright and he's looking like he'll be a big player in the country genre going forward. "Waiting" being the focus track among the new songs makes sense as it's a standout for sure.

This EP drags a bit for me honestly, but it’s definitely solid and he continues to demonstrate he knows how to put together strong melodies.

This is a solid effort. Waiting is the highlight for me. I wish "Change" was included in the album tho. I don't call myself as a big fan of him, but I was not expecting him to so polarizing on Pulse, like he definitely collected more hate than he deserves.
Also, who is Austin Shawn, the writer of those 5 tracks? It is not Shawn Austin, the Canadian artist in Big Loud, right lol?
