How good are Drake's 1st-day numbers? Well, since Drake releases an album every 6 months at this point, we have a lot of recent streaming data.

I took a look at the top songs off Drake's last few projects. Specifically, how did the Day 1 Spotify figures correlate with full-week Billboard-reported streams? Using this, we can calculate some super basic full-week projections for Her Loss.



Caveats: Drake gets the majority of his streams off AM so Spotify numbers aren't the most reliable predictor. Also as y'all know, there's usually an album order effect that weakens as the week goes on. This means songs like Rich Flex & Major Distribution (first 2 songs on the album) might not end up quite that high.

I think it depends on Billboard’s radio policy. If they don’t lower the ratio for radio now that Mediabase with their larger numbers are powering their radio charts, there’s a chance Unholy and maybe Bad Habit sneak in, and Anti-Hero could stick in the Top 3 or 2. If they do lower the ratio, than the CLB album bomb happening all over again is a real possibility, even if Anti-Hero will likely be higher than Stay was.

I can still access the Mediabase radio audience by format by AllAccess.com. If they weren't available anymore, kworb wouldn't even publish their daily estimates, which probably what happened to the iTunes pop bars. Whatever source of data it used for the latter, is no longer available or updated.

It would've fallen out of the Top 10 without Drake but given the incoming All Kill that's about to happen, gonna be excited seeing it potentially fall out of the Top 25 or even the Top 40. Most of Midnights is outstreaming this song.

It used to end on Sunday, but a few years ago it was changed for the airplay week to end on Thursday and align with the sales and streaming weeks.

Figured I'd quote myself and post this here as well.  I was referring to "Wasted on You."  It has surprised me with is pop airplay.  I initially wasn't expecting it to do much there after it was done on Country, but it's currently #20 there and gained 107 spins on today's update. So, the song is not dying, yet.  It's also still top 50 on streaming.  How much more do we think it'll last? 60 weeks total?

I have no idea how this week is going to turn out with all the changes, but with Taylor ahead in airplay now it's going to come down to how many webstore sales Rihanna had I guess? nvm lol

Part of me thinks nothing is ever gonna beat Willow’s record unless they debut at #1 around the time it did, but with the numbers it’s getting (it will likely get half the streaming of last week, I doubt it’s radio is gonna recover, even with the Mediabase transfer, and sales won’t plug in the gaps), maybe? I do expect a fall out of the Top 20 at the least though.
