And for the 2020 poll, let’s see how this goes. I’m voting for The Weeknd, and to me that seems like the obvious answer. It combines a big moment when it debuted with unparalleled staying power. Compare that to, in my opinion, the two competitors, Roddy and Dua. Roddy was the year’s breakout artist, but his lack of future staying power hurts him in comparison to After Hours. Meanwhile, Dua had great singles run and a ton of staying power, but the album itself didn’t sell well until the following year.

I kind of want to pick Dua Lipa because of all the great singles, but I'd say After Hours for the same reason that Mikerivera mentioned above.

It's close between FN and AH but I think FN is more memorable especially since it was a huge glow up for Dua Lipa image wise and made her a global icon.

While technically released at the very end of 2019 (3 years ago yesterday!), it was essentially a 2020 album and is my write-in vote as well.
