Today's extras are by The Purple One. This song, which he wrote, was recorded by The Family in 1985 for their album. Years later it was recorded by Sinéad O'Connor, whose version was one of the biggest hits of 1990. A live version by The Purple One with New Power Generation member Rosie Gaines was included on his compilation album The Hits/The B-Sides. It was released as single and peaked at #62 on the R&B chart.

Prince had originally recorded the song himself in 1984; that version was released in 2018 and peaked at #21 on the R&B Songs chart.

10. Bump N' Grind - R. Kelly

After breaking away from Public Announcement, Robert released his first solo album 12 Play. That album's second single, "Bump N' Grind", went on to become his biggest hit, topping the Hot 100 and R&B charts and was the longest-running R&B #1 at that time. Billboard named it the top R&B single for 1994.
