I doubt Billboard changes their policy of having Christmas songs chart every year on the Hot 100. Read through their article and note all the quirky chart stats (longest time spent from debut to Top 10, longest time from first in the Top 10 until now, AIWFCIY is now tied with the Chipmunks for only Yule song to go 4 consecutive weeks at #1). On and on it goes. Billboard loves to mine all this for their articles. I guess to be fair though, their articles would be kind of boring this time of year without covering all the decades old Christmas songs.

And that Christmas is probably the only time of year when a majority of the population recognizes the songs in the Hot 100 top 10. They aren’t giving that up.

So despite coming close (#11), AIWFCIY misses the airplay top 10 yet again this year, to me the most interesting new milestone it can make. It keeps getting closer and closer every year, so if it doesn't make it next Christmas, it's almost on lock for either 2024 or 2025, when Christmas will fall on a Wednesday and Thursday, respectively, so it will have 6 or 7 solid airplay days leading up to and including Christmas (and assuming Billboard doesn't change their tracking period).
In fact, it easily would have made the top 10 its debut year in 1994, only it fell victim to a similar unfortunate alignment of the tracking period, as Christmas fell on a Sunday that year and the airplay chart ran on a Wednesday-Tuesday time-frame, so it only had five days of solid airplay and had to settle for #12 . It did make the top 10 on both both Pop (#9), and AC (#6), however, as those charts ran on a Monday-Sunday tracking period.

Kill Bill's chances to go #1 seem to be over sadly as it's below Anti-Hero and Unholy this week.

No one is making Hot 100 recap videos now? Seems like I'm getting out of loop on the songs charting without watching the videos.

I guess a top 10 placement for Cuff It is locked with NYE streaming boost and stable radio numbers. Her first album with multiple top 10 hits since Sasha Fierce. The girlies who talked about her having the last solo hit during the Bush administration are FUMING!

Kill Bill's chances to go #1 seem to be over sadly as it's below Anti-Hero and Unholy this week. Doesn't it have a video coming? Surely that will give it a big boost!

No one is making Hot 100 recap videos now? Seems like I'm getting out of loop on the songs charting without watching the videos. The only YouTube channel remaining that does the whole Hot 100 is Speedy Billboard. It does take them a few days after the chart is updated, usually after the Hot 100 weekly thread gets locked. You need to slow down the video to 0.6x speed for songs to sound reasonably well.

Given that 39 holiday songs made the Hot 100 this week, tying the previous record, it is quite likely that next year in the comparable week a new record will be set for them.

I’m scared she’ll release really late thoooo but there’s already a teaser so i’m hopeful
