Dug this rocker from first preview. She seems like the kind of chick that could raise some ruckus at a bikers bar. I loose my first Top 10 before my #100. Only on a PULSE RD.

and I'm back to hating on Adele's unforgettable,boring, piano, pop ballad style.

Did you all listen to it again ,and realize it didn't deserve top 20 ranks? At least I was consistent with my rank. better one prevails.

Probably my favorite from this sweaty bunch. Nice melody goes a long way. This sounds like what AAA was in the 80's. Bruce, Jackson, etc..

Thank goodness this didn't live to see another day. For some reason this pop stinker sounded ten times worse on this list than it did on the alt. Hopefully this will be my final thoughts on this travesty.



60. Bonnie Raite - Made Up Mind
Going through the motions. At least she plays guitar.

Not bad ,and a pretty fun musical high, but What I wany more of is that 80's feel of "Don't Take The Money"

It's alright. One of the more intersting aspects of this band are the vocals. I started digging the song at the 2:20 mark.

Catchy Heartland rock.

Roman Holiday - Fontaines D.C.
Don't recall too many songs from these guys , but this one rides a cool Alt rock vibe, so can't complain.

Bad Love - Dehd
This has a cool retro vibe. Probably would have ended up really high on my list. I can see Joan Jett having one of these porock jams on her 80's albums.

Hurts (But It Goes Away) - The Head and the Heart
A song from this band I would not have to tank.

Anything But Me - MUNA
Easy top 20 for me on a list like this. Still wondering how many will rank "Silk Chiffon" higher than me?

Rose Pink Cadillac - Dope Lemon
This guy sounds like a drunk Marlon Brando. No thanks.

Wretched - Bartees Strange
Pretty good musical vibe. The build up reminds me of John Newman's song style.

Aww man, it was crushing to see “Alpha Zulu” leave right away. I was hoping that would go far. I don’t know what it is about the song, but it’s just FUN. Certified bop.

Rex Orange County never did it for me, and after seeing what came to light, I certainly had no qualms about putting him in last place on my list, which would’ve been where he went regardless as this song, much like just about everything I’ve ever heard from him, sucked lol. One of the few blemishes in this otherwise flawless set of tunes imo.

Bonnie’s Grammy win for “Just Like That” might’ve initially come as a cold shock to quite a few people, even herself, however she is an absolute legend and this song was one of the greats for me on this list.

John Mayer is horrible, but this song was really quite groovy. Excellent guitar work.

Adele rarely misses with me, and “Easy On Me” (and yes, this applies to “Oh My God” as well) is no exception. She has a voice for the ages, and one that was meant for the piano. And the lyrics are superb.

Love Amethyst’s twin brother Jack, but this Bleachers song just didn’t have much in it that could draw me to care for it.
