Well, either Miley Cyrus or Lana Del Rey can kiss their #1 albums goodbye. Wallenβs second week will be stable and easily block the aforementioned. Rednecks and Mississippi Delta racists won! ππΎ

The real issue is the fact that he's releasing an album of 36 songs and if it performs as well as Dangerous then we'll have more than half the Hot 100 being Wallen.
And unlike Dangerous, this isn't being promoted as a double album so I hope there isn't any filler.

Also three songs of the album will be released at midnight.
Meanwhile, Dawns climbs to #9 on Apple Music right now. This has actually never fell there since debut.

So two more years for Morgan Wallen in the top 10 for that one and prolonging the stay of Dangerous We'll see. Certainly nothing's guaranteed just because the first one did.

I just listened to Diamonds & Dancefloors. let me tell you: Ava. Max. Can. Write. Melodies. For. Days. Hooks on hooks on hooks. A great pop writer. Like honestly every melody that came out I was like: woah sick. Genius. Right? She absolutely is a student of the Max Martin school of songwriting lmao. She can write a hook, and it's very apparent on songs like cold as ice and maybe you're the problem. hell, sweet but psycho took off because every single part of that damn song is a hook. you play alo-o-ong, let her lead you o-o-onThe album is reallt well made and very catchy. This girl would have had three #1s from it by now if this was 2009.

Now only if Rihanna drops R9 on March 3... Rihanna was never an albums artist and in fact only was #1 on the bb200 for one week with Anti's first full week on the bb200.

I really liked her album too. if you love pop music, its a lot of fun and a step up from heaven & hell I just listened to Diamonds & Dancefloors. let me tell you: Ava. Max. Can. Write. Melodies. For. Days. Hooks on hooks on hooks. A great pop writer. Like honestly every melody that came out I was like: woah sick. Genius. Honestly, and I mean this as a compliment, she should really consider becoming a behind-the-scenes songwriter if this popstar career doesn't work out for her long-term. Her latest album proves that she has a gift for making sticky melodies, and I think that could translate to something great down the line, even if that ultimately means it doesn't come from her directly.

Fucking hell. Heβs going to dominate the rest of the year. I think anything above 20 songs should qualify as two separate albums. What stops someone from putting 100 songs out on an βalbumβ?

Guess Morgan is getting another #1 album of the year. And judging by how Dangerous and his singles in 2022 performed, this album bomb will be HUGE.

Tbh, I didn't expect Made You Look remix to have zero impact and Just Wanna Rock would go in top 10 instead. It still continues the revolving door of top 10 though.

I truly wonder if Wallen is gonna suffer from extreme sophomore slump, I know he's still a huge but no one is gonna listen to a 36 track album. Dangerous is also long but it's basically two separate albums and it was promoted that way so listeners feel less put off, but just one straight album with 36 tracks sounds exhausting. Unless each track is like 2 minutes the whole album is gonna be like 2 hours long, I have feeling listeners will tap out half-way through.

Zach Bryan - American Heartbreak exists and I think the streams distribution does not have major differences to shorter albums. 3. His fanbase is stronger than you thought. I predict a SZA-sized album bomb on Hot 100.

People say that rappers promote drug use but then their favourite artist titles half of the songs off their newest album after alcohol I'd say it's less than and more "aLcOhOl IsN't A dRuG" or whatever. Though, granted, that line of thinking probably does indeed partly stem from racism.

That #10 slot is gonna be fought over for the next several weeks until a song can get enough traction to scale the gap and beat AIW, calling it now. Anyways i kinda want Lavender Haze to be the one to get that #10 slot, and then Just Wanna Rock gets it next week. Tbh if his fans are willing to listen through a 30 song album, a 36 song album, 25% of which they've already heard, shouldn't be much of a problem. It helps that American Heartbreak has shown that people are willing to listen to albums this long, though i'm probably overestimating the resilience of his fanbase here.
