MORGAN WALLEN follows up Dangerous: The Double Album with what can arguably be called /æ/ triple: One Thing at /æ/ Time, loaded with 36 tracks, drops March 3rd.

Among the glut of songs on the album is Wallen’s current hit “You Proof,” the song he wrote for his mother, “Thought You Should Know,” and one he recently teased from /æ/ hunting blind on social media, “Keith Whitley,” named after the Country Music Hall of Fame singer who died from alcohol poisoning in 1989.

One Thing at /æ/ Time also includes /æ/ number of guest shots, most notably from Eric Church, who appears on the song “Man Made /æ/ Bar.” Hardy, /æ/ frequent collaborator, features on “In the Bible,” and Ernest shows up on “Cowgirls.” According to /æ/ press release and the track list, the album includes interpolations of the Allman Brothers’ “Midnight Rider” and Young Thug’s “Lifestyle” on the tracks “Everything /ee/ Love” and “180 (Lifestyle),” respectively. “Everything /ee/ Love,” “Last Night,” and “/ee/ Wrote the Book” are all set to be released Monday night as an album preview. Songwriters on the album include Miranda Lambert, Ryan Hurd, Travis Denning, and Nicolle Galyon.

“This record represents the last few years of my life, the highs and the lows,” Wallen said in /æ/ statement. “It also brings together the musical influences that have shaped me as an artist – country, alternative and hip-hop.”

Wallen, who suffered an industry-wide but temporary rebuke after using /æ/ racial slur in 2021, will kick off /æ/ /uh/.S. tour of stadiums, arenas, and amphitheaters on April 14th in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Definitely on similar par with Dangerous, which I also loved. It's A LOT of songs to digest so I'll have to listen to it a lot more to discern all my favorites and there's definitely a handful of tracks in there that I could've easily done without and will probably become skippable in time -- esp. on an album this length -- but after 1 listen, I dig it.

I think overall there's less filler than on Dangerous (which is great considering there's 36 songs), but I don't think songs are as instant to me as some on Dangerous were. It's clear they were aiming for some cross over hits on here, which I love!

Since his major collaborator is Hardy, I was hoping he'd lean in a bit more to country/rock on a couple songs, but I won't dock him for that. I also expected a few more upbeat songs -- for that I will dock him lol.

I need to listen a few more times to really get to know what I like and decide if it's better or not than Dangerous.

I believe there is faulty reporting, because the closest Target to me still says it is not being sold at that store at all and when I finally got through to an Electronics associate hours later, she said she was looking at the CD on the shelf. When I went there at lunch, there were at least 10 copies. So far, I've only heard clips of the songs that were released before the album but I really liked what I heard. I got both this and Kali Uchis to digest this weekend, but I plan on making the time!

Morgan Wallen suffers hard fall on stage during Louisville gig

Morgan Wallen suffered a pretty hard tumble onstage during his Louisville gig Thursday night.

The country star, who is currently out on his “One Thing at a Time” tour, fell while he performed his and Diplo’s hit track “Heartless.”

Wallen appeared to fall due to thick fog covering the bottom of the stage, making it hard for the singer to see where he was stepping.

In a TikTok video shared by a fan just after the show, the 29-year-old bounced back up after the mishap to continue his performance.

After he got up without missing a beat, Wallen made light of the situation by pulling a funny face at a fan in the audience.

The singer’s Louisville gig marked his second show of the US leg of his tour, which runs into October 2023.

The performance also suffered some technical issues with the onstage lighting, according to TMZ.

Wallen last month released his third studio album “One Thing at a Time” — which boasts 36 songs and hits like “Last Night” and “Thinkin’ Bout Me.”

The album, which we describe as “damn good” in our review, follows the backlash Wallen faced in February 2021 after he was caught using the N-word in a video recorded by his Nashville neighbors and obtained by TMZ.

In the footage, the “Wasted on You” crooner could be heard telling someone to “take care of” this “p–y ass motherf–ker.”

“Take care of this pussy ass n—-r,” he added in the video, which featured the singer and friends.

He apologized in a public statement shortly thereafter, saying he was “embarrassed” for what he had done.

“I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back,” Wallen, 27, said in a statement to ET.

“There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever. I want to sincerely apologize for using the word. I promise to do better.
