Yea I really dig this and always felt his core format was AAA and a major label would only support him as long as he remained relevant to mainstream stations. Now that’s he’s independent but still has a solid fanbase from him massive previous hits (still getting solid reccurrent play and in dept stores lol), I hope AAA radio really goes back to supporting him cause this sounds like something that’d do well there.

Looking at how all the metrics are lining up (keeping in mind he’s an independent artist now)- his Shazam’s leave something to be desired for its position and hope it grows and decent but not spectacular streams for an independent release tho his singles usually have decent legs. Ideally, I think this might be able to be a 20ish week climb breaking into the top 15 on HAC with a top 30 AAA peak, which is GREAT for him as it outpeaks his last radio single on HAC when he was still on Interscope. He got another 7 adds this week so the song is definitely still growing.

He’s become much more of a touring artist now as an indie artist so any radio play is gravy to me. If they want to try for another single after this, I think ‘Love Like That’ would be a great choice as it’s already the most streamed track due to being a promotional track, has solid editorial DSP playlisting and has a little Shazam foundation built.

Super proud of P2 and his team for pulling off a top 15 on HAC independently- it shows me he still has some radio love from his previous huge hits. Idk if this will much higher as it’s been climbing for nearly 20 weeks which isn’t cheap for an independent team but this was a success for him on radio IMO for him.
