"Gangsta's Paradise" would have obviously been an easy #1 for me in this. "Tell Me" would undoubtedly have been high for me, too. Gee, who could've ever seen that winner coming?  Pleasantly surprised to see "This Is How We Do It" manage to be the runner-up. It's not one of my favourite songs ever, and has slightly burned on me, but it's definitely a banger and edged out the other songs for me in this. Never a bad time to hear and sing along to that one. I also didn't expect Biggie to take 3rd, but I'm glad he did. Thanks for yet another great job hosting, Soulsista! |

Great rankdown! I thought the Top 2 was going to be a Mariah and Whitney showdown. And I shouldn’t be surprised that Montell got the #2 spot.

I'm a little behind but catching up now! 5. Exhale (Shoop Shoop) - Whitney Houston: I love this song from Whitney but with this being my #10 ranking, this was easily my least favorite of this Top 5 so I'm glad to see it show up 5th. I do get the love for this song but I do wish Brandy and Monica's songs had ranked higher. 4. I'll Be There For You/You're All I Need To Get By - Method Man feat. Mary J. Blige: Aww I'm a bit sad that this song missed out making the Top 3 but oh well, 4th is still great. This song is a great collabo between Method Man & Mary J and it's also such a classic. Love this and so glad it ranked well. 3. One More Chance/Stay With Me - The Notorious B.I.G.: Omgg at "One More Chance" beating out the Method/Mary song by just 1 point and this wasn't anyone's #1's. Whoaa super shocked on all of this. :shock: I do love this song and glad it did well, but with it being my #8, I didn't want it to do this well, lmaoo.  But still, this is such a classic! SUCH an iconic Top 2 as this was my personal Top 2 of this rankdown! :wub: 2. This Is How We Do It - Montell Jordan: Lol I know there was some outrage with this song making it this far but I don't care. This song is iconic and such a classic jam! I really love this from Montell. Such a fun song and I can never get tired of this. 1. Fantasy - Mariah Carey: Yeah this was an obvious #1 but again, I don't care about that because this song is such a classic. I really love this from Mariah and it's one of my ultimate favorite songs from her. It's so fun, cute and just an all around great song. And like mentioned, the remix inspired all of these rap/sung collaborations. But DANGG at the landslide win here of this winning by 95 points. And wow at the 2.2 average! WOW at this getting 21 (out of 35) #1 rankings too. That is really incredible. :omg: Very happy I got perfect ranks for my Top 2! As always, this was such a great and fun rankdown, Soulsista!
