She did show somewhere (Insta?) part of the song that was supposed to be track 7 about falling in love again, but she chose to cut/save it. She also has definitely toyed with rereleasing Penthouse (healed version) along with Blindsided’s new ending.

I think there is likely a lot more material to turn this into a full fledged album a la 29: Written in Stone. And, she should. The demand is there. The songs at her shows that are fully belted are the ones from RITWM (including every word to Interlude).

My perfect world is an extension into a 13-15 song album with the same sound/vibe, Interlude full version, Blindsided alt version, and some song that plays on a theme of one of her previous love songs (maybe I Hate Love Songs).

First thing I'll say is I'm glad I was able to predict with pretty damn close to 100% accuracy that there'd be some extended version of this project and what it would look like (though I wish it were a full fledged album). Second thing I'll say is Interlude Full Length took me like an hour to digest and holy moly.

This just keeps getting better and better. How Do I Do This is a damn relatable smash. The interlude is ridiculous.

She’s a fucking star. This album continues to prove it and the latest additions just only brighten this piece. Bravo Ms. Ballerini.

I love this set of songs so much, and I love the additions to it. I selfishly wish there was more, but I’ll take this. That full interlude is insane, particularly that last verse.

I have never been on a date before in my life, so I already know how relatable “How Do I Do This” is going to be once that starts happening. Did I hear her say the word “fuck” ?! Come on, grown woman!!! Also, I immediately thought of Kelly Clarkson when I heard the name Kelly, lmao.

LOVE the full length interlude. The short version just ended so abruptly and was too good to keep that short.

“Ain’t it like this town to only criticize a woman. Am I right? Cause hindsight says I was right” is so delicious. And “we really turned goodbye into a game into a hobby - you collected bones but I buried the bodies” damn girl. “Forever’s just the interlude” is brilliant too - now it’s a fitting actual title for the song and I love that.

Also omg “How Do I Do This” is such a bop. Kelsea does the uptempo cute little love song SO well and this is no exception. I am also OBSESSED that this song ends with “and now it’s 7:00 on the dot” because “Mountain With a View”’s very first lyric is “it’s 7:00am and I’m on mountain with a view”. I love the juxtaposition of Kelsea’s emotions in the two songs and it truly just wraps the whole project up into the whole process of realizing the relationship was over, going through the grief and hurt and fighting, choosing yourself and loving yourself better, and healing so you’re ready to love again. Ugh, this whole project and this woman. A+++ all the way around. Her magnum opus. I cannot wait to hear what comes next from her but in the meantime I’ll continue making this EP my most listened to album of the year (by a landslide).

Now that I let it soak in for a week, I have to say it… "How Do I Do This" is a mega smash and NEEDS to be the next single. It’s not only an infectious bop, but it signifies a fresh start for her and I feel like it would resonate really well with radio and the GP.

I’d love it if it was the next single for radio! It has such an infectious hook to it that I think people would take really well to. But then again, Country radio has failed to support Kelsea with her recent singles even though her stardom was (and currently is) at all time high.

Music video is great! She sure delivers visually all the time. Was hoping for a Chase cameo though. Pretty sure this won’t be a radio single, but it’s A+++ so I’d be here for it. But considering she debuted a new song on the Opry this week, I think we’ll get a new single next Spring for the new project.

She’s not talking about Kelly Clarkson. One of her best friend’s name is Kelly (Bolton) and Kelsea was in her wedding, so it’s likely this Kelly she’s talking about.
