It's available on the free version of Spotify too if you listen on a desktop.
Felt like she wanted to get a lot of things off her chest of the "why" it took place, since a lot of the media/Morgan tried to pin the divorce soley on her.

Impressed by the first week numbers, considering this EP dropped in the middle of the week as opposed to a Friday, and lacks physical copies. Her SNL gig might hopefully draw a surge of attention to the project too, and get this the flowers it deserves.

I don’t think the podcast was all that revealing, but it was a good listen. Nice to kind of confirm this EP is a response to how pissed off she was about “Over For You” and confirming her relationship with Chase Stokes. Some of the details of their relationship and especially the trip to LA story show more inside her head of why she ended it, but I feel like the EP got that across well too. Sad to hear how ugly it’s become between them though and how she’s seen a whole different side of him. Very, very glad she’s happy now though.

Kelsea is allowed to defend her honour. Perhaps Morgan shouldn’t have released the song if he didn’t want Kelsea to release her side?

I just listen to Morgan's song again and nowhere is he depicting Kelsea as manipulative. He was just asking questions to which he didn't have the answers.
And Lying to Kelsea? Since you or nobody else was there to know the truth, maybe you shouldn't take her word as gospel. Just saying.

A little hypocritical of him to make a such post considering he wasted no time releasing a song about the situation before the divorce was even finalized, then talking about it on the Bobby Bones show. I noticed that this was posted yesterday before her interview went live; probably an attempt to discredit her before she spilled the beans in her interview. Personally thought Kelsea's interview was great. She definitely was very upfront about her having her faults too, as well as Morgan having his, as well as them growing to become different people. Whereas Morgan seems to be trying to shift the blame solely on Kelsea.

Honestly, I get that when you're a celebrity your divorce is going to get a lot of media coverage, but I think they both need to just take a step back and keep private things private. But from what I can tell it seems that a lot of people are dragging Morgan and defending Kelsea simply because she's a woman and the bigger name of the two. We'll never know the full story, and we don't need to know because it's none of our business. But it's getting a little tiresome seeing Morgan dragged for releasing a song amid heartbreak, and then Kelsea getting praised for releasing a full EP and going on podcasts and going into full details of the divorce and, from what we can see on social media, being on a bit of a high right now with all the big opportunities she's getting. Not that she shouldn't be riding that high right now, but I just feel bad for Morgan since he's clearly not nearly as big of a name as Kelsea and it seems like everything is going her way right now and he has to sit back and get all kinds of s**t from random people on the internet who think they know the full story. And I know if the situations were reversed, if Kelsea initially released a song, and Morgan was the huge name releasing an EP, doing podcast interviews, and getting all these huge opportunities, it would be the same thing...Kelsea would be getting all the support and Morgan would be getting dragged. I honestly feel bad for both of them because I know it's not an easy situation, but just annoyed at how the fans are handling it. Except, when they first got divorced Kelsea was quiet and Morgan was the one speaking out? He was quick to release a song too? As well given how sexist country music listeners are, Kelsea was getting a lot of hate (which I noticed you left out). Regardless, if Morgan did not want this to "get out" he could've not released the song? Now that he has, and he kept silent when the narrative going till this release that Kelsea was the issue, Kelsea has released her perspective and comes across much more authentically because she acknowledges where she was weak too. It's funny how when the female shares their side suddenly it is a "both sides should keep it private" matter.

It’s kind of dumb for any of the GP to take sides on celebrity divorces, honestly. Unless you’re a close friend or family member you have no idea what actually happened, regardless of what gets shared in public.

GP likes the messiness from divorces. Can't blame them as it is human nature to gossip and look down on other people.
Also a certain comment just proves the point of Interlude.

I also think most posters here weren’t taking sides. One poster said Morgan was the bigger person in all of this and I think people defended that.

Morgan’s tweet just reads as gaslighting, imo. Everyone is entitled to their own feelings and if this is how Kelsea interpreted everything, then that’s her reality. His reality can look different than hers and that’s okay. Funny enough, I really don’t think Kelsea has smeared Morgan in any way with her songs or the interview. She went out of her way to correct herself when she started to say “he WAS a good guy” and corrected herself and said “he IS a good guy”. Sure she talked about ways he hurt her, but it was never painted in a way that it was defaming Morgan - Kelsea was just telling her side of the story.
“Blindsided” is the closest thing to smearing Morgan and even that, while maybe a little brash, is completely in response to “Over For You”. Knowing they’ve been in and out of therapy for years, separated multiple times, I don’t know how he could’ve been surprised by the divorce, so this song is just her responding to his song.
Could Kelsea have kept quiet and not followed in Morgan’s footsteps by releasing music about their relationship ending? Sure. But Morgan’s direct accusation of her seeing someone else followed by her dating someone new less than a year after the divorce would absolutely start rumors (and probably already has) that she was unfaithful. Pulse Music Board may have been team Kelsea no matter who released their music/interviews first, but the general public and especially the country music industry is still wildly sexist in a multitude of ways and I’m not so sure Kelsea walks away from this unscathed if she didn’t speak up. She’s taking control of her narrative, telling HER reality to defend her public image and her career. It being insanely good of an album is what has people fawning at Kelsea right now. I haven’t seen a single person (at least on Pulse) declaring they’ve taken Kelsea’s side of this. Kelsea specifically has said she has plenty of blame in the relationship too - that doesn’t mean she can’t process her feelings in the same way Morgan processed his.

Debut at #21 country and #186 overall with 8k SPS with 3 days of tracking. That’s actually mad impressive to me and I think that’ll bode for a small 2nd week drop (or even slight gain if it picked up throughout the week) for its first full tracking week. Also her SNL Gig? Huge get and really hope she performs one track from this (the boost could be SOLID giving it some legs) and one from ‘subject to change’ (ideally her current country single) to maximize awareness for both projects. I haven’t fully listen to this but are there any tracks y’all could see fitting on hot ac radio? Now that Heartfirst peaked, this project could benefit from a single pushed to hot ac as she definitely has built up enough of a name there to get consistent top 25-20 hits there without a heavy push. It's most likely going to climb on the 2nd week. It's very steady on sales and actually picking up on streams, so with a full week instead of 3 days of tracking I can't see it dropping unless I'm missing something

Her PR team did very well and Morgan’s response added just the spark it needed to ignite it right in time leading up to her SNL debut. In reality, this is the type of “drama” that makes projects more accessible to mainstream audiences and already passed 10 million Spotify streams so its bought more interest.

I subscribe to Spotify, and I watched/listened to this at work yesterday and then re-watched it on my TV (Amazon Firestick) at home so I could focus on it. As most of y'all have said, she doesn't badmouth Morgan for the most part. I don't get how Morgan was blindsided because Kelsea admits they were in therapy FOR YEARS. Therapy doesn't happen unless the problems are serious enough to bring in a neutral party. I commend them for trying therapy although it didn't ultimately solve their problems. What also surprised me with the podcast was Morgan had a way to get to one of Kelsea's shows in LA and he didn't show. Then, Kelsea says her best friend was at that show, and it wasn't to see the show, it was to prove that it isn't hard to show up to a concert. In regards to the movie, holy smokes, I was really impressed.

"Blindsided" is being pushed to Hot AC. Word my prediction came true. Listening to it, I can see it at minimum hit top 20 but seeing how Kane and Parmalee are doing, though they were also country hits, I’m interested in seeing how high this could go as it’s being pushed with a solid promotional opportunity.

Kelsea killed SNL. Killed it.
Glad she is getting some of the recognition she so richly deserves.

Not sure if it's frowned upon to post in this thread, since it's been a while, but I really wonder if this becomes a full fledged album in the future. She posted a clip of her recording Blindsided (but with the SNL ending) so I have to believe that something more could be coming with this.

She’s all but confirmed a deluxe edition is coming through an AMA on instagram and teasing the extended version of Blindsided.
Definitely here for this becoming a full album (or at least longer EP) because it is so damn good. I wonder if she’s waiting until IYGDIGDT peaks so she can release something off of this to country radio, likely “Penthouse” or a new track.
I’ll be interested to see how the new songs fit in the set list since the songs in order tell the story of her coming to terms with the end of her marriage. Wonder if there’s room for a song about falling in love again since she’s so smitten with Chase. Either way, I’m stoked for this project to continue getting its moment. It’s way too damn good not to.
