Who do you think should headline 2024 Superbowl?
I don’t include :
-. Britney . She’s just not ready, although i really want to see her perform
-. Miley Cyrus. Big but not big enough
-. Adele. She will bring the energy down with her type of music.
-. Harry Styles. He slays but we don’t want another male performer when we can have divas. And like Miley, big but not big enough.
-. Shania Twain. She could represent Country music, but i don’t think they will go with Shania as they need to attract younger generation

Pink.
She actually would’ve been perfect for this one considering her current album rollout.

Miley Cyrus. Big but not big enough If this era has a few hits she would be perfect for the halftime show. She could also add Dolly Parton as a special guest. Dolly could sing "I will always love you" and "Jolene" as duets with Miley. If they want a country legend, they don't get bigger than Dolly Parton. If not her, then it will likely be Pink. I do not expect Taylor to do it for awhile. She said she doesn't want to do it till she finishes rerecording her albums. -. Shania Twain. She could represent Country music, but i don’t think they will go with Shania as they need to attract younger generation I guess you haven't watched the 2003 hafttime show ;) Shania Twain & No Doubt (2003)

If Ariana doesn't release this year, it would be perfect for her to perform next year alongside the new album drop

1. P!nk - she would absolutely slay a halftime show 2. Mariah Carey - so many iconic hits over multiple decades 3. Carrie Underwood - one of the most entertaining country performers
Taylor Swift will do it one day but I’m sure she’ll wait until she finishes the TV releases.
I could see Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber each doing halftime shows one day but not before the ones I listed before.
I’d love to see Kelly Clarkson do a halftime show but I feel like she would need to do it with another artist. Maybe Carrie?
If they wanna go the male country route, Luke Bryan is the most obvious choice.
Edit: I forgot about Usher. He would be a perfect choice if they wanted a male performer next year.

For me it should either be P!nk, Carrie Underwood, or Taylor Swift. I have no doubt they'd all put on a great show, especially the first two.

I don't think it will happen quite yet, but it'd be cool if we got Taylor Swift so that was my vote.

Shania already did it.
Taylor is the obvious choice who hasn't done it yet.
Adele.
Usher.
Bieber.
Drake.
I love Mariah, but I don't see this as a space where she would excel. Her nerves performing, lack of dancing, etc.

Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, P!nk, Taylor Swift, Adele, and Ariana Grande would all be varying degrees of solid choices and I'd be happy with any of those.

P!nk, Taylor and Ed would all be solid choices. I'll throw a vote in Ed's direction since P!nk isn't an option here and I think he's more likely to do it next year than Taylor.

Pink is always the first name that comes to me but of course there are many great choices:
• Taylor just has to do this. • Drake, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran are the biggest male artists of our times. They are very obvious halftime show picks. • Miley, Dua & Ariana, while in different stages in their careers, have the hits to do it. • Bad Bunny had a short cameo in 2020's halftime show but that was before his ultimate domination. He can't do it alone at the moment but he might if he keeps on dominating the industry. • Nicki can't headline imo unless she has multiple guests, it would be a great show. • I don't see a country halftime show any time soon, unless it's an all-star roster like last year's hip hop legends concept. • I would love an Adele halftime show. It would be a complete different experience.

Who do you think should headline 2024 Superbowl? I don’t include : Miley Cyrus. Big but not big enough I strongly disagree with this. Miley Cyrus would make a perfect choice for next year. She already has the hits under her belt. And now with "Flowers" smashing and her approval rating among the general public at an all-time high, I don't see how she wouldn't fit the bill next year (and lbr she is not comparable to Harry Styles, who has 2 and a half solo smash hits in the US). Also, didn't Miley's New Year's Eve special bring in the most ratings out of all programs this year or something? That primes her well for this as well. what I would include on her Super Bowl setlist:+ Flowers + Wrecking Ball/I Will Always Love You/Jolene (with Dolly Parton) + Party in the USA + We Can't Stop + Edge of Midnight aka Midnight Sky/Edge of Seventeen (with Steve Nicks) + Heart of Glass + See You Again Encore: + The Climb OR Angels Like You OR new hit from Endless Summer Vacation

Mariah Carey.
I'd even go as far as to say give Janet a re-do of the halftime performance. It's 2023, and we the Superbowl needs to progress forward.

Mariah Carey doing the superbowl would be phenomenal.
I would also love to see P!NK do it. In fact, why hasn't she been asked to do it before? She's got the show, the pipes, and the hits!

Miley with Dolly Parton, Stevie Nicks and Madonna would be way more than enough. This wouldn't just work, it would end up as one of the best halftime shows. Miley is creative, she's going to put on an amazing show. I could picture her descending from the roof in a giant disco ball:

I completely forgot Pink! She will definitely challenge Beyonce and Gaga as the best female superbowl headliner .

Taylor Swift for sure but it won't happen until after the TVs releases are done.
Others- Ariana Grande, one of the biggest stars in the world and has tons of hits. Carrie Underwood,NBC Sunday Night Football Fixture and would be perfect for a country halftime. Christina Aguilera, she stills puts on great concerts even through she is an older act for the new generation,Genie 2.0 at the SB would be cool.

I know this is Pulse, but as much as the Halftime Show is its own thing -- it's still in the middle of a sports game. So the performer's audience has to be broad. For that reason alone, a few of your options I just don't see happening.
Out of all of your options, Carrie is the most obvious to me.

The most watched Super Bowl halftime performances of all time are Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga. Seeing this trend, I’m sure they know that female pop stars will bring in the ratings and in the end, the NFL is all about money and ratings. It’s only a matter of time before they recruit P!nk and Taylor Swift for their own shows. And I’m sure Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus will be considered at some point. Granted, if there is one country act that could bring in the ratings, it’s Carrie Underwood.

I'd be excited for Pink, Kelly, or Shania, and think they would all be good choices.
I would not be at all excited for Carrie or Taylor lol, but hard to argue that they wouldn't be good choices.
Harry seems like a better pick than Ed.
Mariah and Britney have the prestige and catalog but can't imagine the reaction wouldn't be painful so please no.

Agreed that they realized female pop stars add more eyeballs, ratings, discussion etc. So, I get where you're coming from. Although, I still am surprised on Gaga doing the superbowl (given what I mentioned above). But, Katy Perry and Rihanna have a hugely wide appeal to men, as well. Everyone, men and women, know California Girls, Fireworks, Umbrella, Where Have You Been, etc. etc. Hence why I think they truly worked as half time performers (and if I read correctly are the top 2 most viewed). Granted, there's not many people on that level as Katy and Rihanna with mass appeal. I guess some would argue Taylor has that same appeal, now that I think about it.

Want to see Taylor Swift do it so bad. I think she has the discography for it.
A good set list for it
Start with Ready For It Intro - then have the Baby let the games begin part
I Knew You Were Trouble Anti Hero Blank Space Shake It Off End with Cardigan (Even though I think she would do Lover)
