You're not going to repeat a 36-track album as quick as a 10-track album or find your favorite cuts as quick, which would factor as to why the top streamed songs aren't necessarily pulling huge numbers and its more dispersed evenly. 

You could theoretically say that if he got 36 songs with an average of 1 million+ streams each, then maybe if the album was 18 songs they could've averaged 2 million+ each given the majority of listeners would've spent the same amount of time listening to the album first day.

There's no way I'm even listening to a 36-track album from an artist unless they're one of my top favorite artists, I was actively anticipating the album, and was planning to have it in consistent rotation.

Majority of the listeners are fans that are still going to be listening to new Morgan Wallen whenever they have free time to listen to music.

Maybe because the album is so long 

A. People stopped listening mid-way at some point yesterday, then picked up where they left off, so the lower tracks are gaining.
B. People waited until Saturday to listen period so they can fully hear it in a single listening as many work Monday-Friday
C. A combination of both A and B

For context, the largest U.S. streaming week for a country album is the first week of Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version), which collected 303.23 million on-demand audio and video official streams for its 30 tracks (in its first week, ending Nov. 18, 2021). The second-largest streaming week for a country set is the debut frame of Wallen’s last album, Dangerous: The Double Album, which logged 240.18 million clicks for its 30 songs in its debut week, ending Jan. 14, 2021.

In addition, One Thing at a Time sold over 60,000 copies on its first day, mostly through digital album purchases. The set was issued only in three retail-available editions: a digital album (both clean and explicit) and a double-CD (explicit only). One Thing at a Time has yet to be released on vinyl, unlike Dangerous in its first week, when it sold 6,000 copies.

News of further initial sales and streaming-and-track-equivalent activity for One Thing at a Time, as provided by Luminate, will be reported in the coming days.

One Thing at a Time was preceded by the release of nine songs from the album, going back as far as April of 2022. i think you’re analyzing it wrong. The post Otavio is quoting is one of the many weekly posts made by user nathanalbright about whether songs can reach certain chart longevity milestones (in this case, 35 weeks).

Almost every song sounds the same, they have the same production and similar lyrical content. He could've made some cuts because 36 songs is ridiculous, this isn't 70's prog-rock it's boring acoustic country ballads.

Seems like it. Fully expect it to be back in the Top 10 by tomorrow (alongside Kill Bill). Granted I also wouldn’t be surprised if Morgan’s dominance fades away slower than with most album bombs: he should probably still have half the top 40 and the number-one by the end of the week.

It seems like it can go either way tbh. These versions are doing what amounts to nothing on streaming, so that margin is still as big as ever. But a strong sales campaign has proven enough to keep a song at number-one in the past. And Miley also has the plus of having a truly insane radio margin behind her. Again, I expect it can go either way, but while this sales campaign will likely close the margins, i don’t think it will be enough to guarantee Miley winning, atleast I think.

Morgan's album wasn't as big as I thought it would be on spotify. Hoping a decent chunk of it will fall away fairly quickly with only a handful of the songs that stick with people hanging around. Doing a lot better than I thought it would do on Apple Music though.

Happy it'll likely cause a large number of songs to go recurrent. Then when the album tracks fall a bunch on the Hot 100 it should help pave the way for a number of songs to get new peaks in a few weeks.
