Also, I heard the numbers actually went down, but he is still killing it! The fact that she is sold more this first week than all her other albums combined is just insane! A decrease, but she's holding incredibly well, which isn't normally the case with her. Brat's second week is going to be bigger than any of her previous album opening weeks, lol. |

“365” grew on me just enough that I can enjoy it when I’m in the mood, but otherwise I’m still just not getting this. It’s in the vein of sounds I want more mainstream artists to start playing with though, so I’m not mad at it catching on.
The girl so confusing remix is great though. Idk why, but Lorde brings something to it that was missing.

I’ve never really been into Charli XCX but my friends have been trying to get me to check out ‘Brat’ for awhile now. So I decided to listen to it last week when I was traveling for vacation. I am blown away at how good this album is. I’ve never really checked out much hyper pop but I love this album and I’ve listened to it multiple times over the past week.
My album standouts include: Club classics, Sympathy is a knife, Talk talk, Von Dutch, Everything is romantic, So I, 365.
There really isn’t a bad song on this album and I hate that I was so resistant to checking out this album at first.

This album doesn't top Number 1 Angel for me but I'm glad she's finally found her long overdue commercial success.
The "girl, so confusing" remix is simply genius and a boss move for both of them.

'Apple' has been gaining some traction thanks to a TikTok dance challenge using the 3rd verse of the song, debuting at #64 in the UK this week and climbing to #150 on the US Spotify chart (while '360' is just outside the Top 50 at #53)

This era has been such a f**king trip. I wouldn't be surprised if she landed an AOTY nomination. I don't think she has a shot in hell at winning, but there's no way she doesn't have dance/electronic in the bag. Atlantic better not f**k up her submissions and put her in pop vocal or some mess.

Considering how Brat Summer has become a cultural movement, I am surprised this album hasn’t done slightly better numbers or been more embraced on playlisting and radio. You would honestly think the label would be pouring extra cash into her at this moment. Maybe they are and I just am not following closely enough.
Either way, this has been a success and I’m so glad Charli is getting her flowers. Def deserves an AOTY nomination.
Regardless this album is still growing and doing amazing commercially.
