It gave Bieber his 7th number-one, after "What Do You Mean?", "Sorry", "Love Yourself", "I'm the One" with DJ Khaled, Quavo of Migos, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne, "Despacito" with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, and "Stuck With U" with Ariana Grande, while both Daniel Caesar and Giveon notched their first #1 single from this song. With "Peaches".
Bieber tied with Drake for the most number-one debuts among male soloists, with Bieber managing to do so before with "What Do You Mean?", "I'm the One", and "Stuck With U". The song reached #1 alongside its parent album in the Billboard 200 chart, thus Bieber became the third artist to do so (first for a male soloist) after BTS and Taylor Swift. It also managed to hit #1 in other countries such as Australia, Bieber's native country Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand to name a few.
I really like this song, all three did really well and I feel like the R&B-esque sound fits perfectly for Justin Bieber. One of my personal favorites from 2021.
