I am shocked they waited a while to announce this as the next single, since it's not like "Down Home" has had much longevity since peaking at country radio.

I like this one. Surely it is not as strong as down home, and the lyrics are pretty shallow, but the melody is undeniably catchy and pleasant to my ears.

This or âSettle On Backâ were the logical choices for next single imo.

I am happy they are taking this seriously and hereâs to hoping this song is never played again. I honestly didnât see Jimmie as a guy who would do that but itâs really upsetting to hear.

He's toast and so is his career... even if he's found not guilty of this, it will do irreparable damage to his reputation. As for whether the allegations are true or not, who knows for sure, but honestly it doesn't look good from reading the article. Regardless, glad appropriate action is being taken and here's to hoping the truth, whatever that is, prevails in the end so justice can be served.

He ainât s**t for this and I absolutely believe the survivor. Even him admitting he cheated on his wife for two years shows he lacks morals (she also most likely wasnât the only one) and hope justice is served. His career is definitely done after this especially as Iâve always felt his âsingleâ based career was heavily label financed and forced anyways.
