I was in the audience of the taping yesterday afternoon, and she performed That's Life! It was beautiful. They said the episode will air on October 21. The Kellyoke was the final part of the episode they filmed and was definitely the most exciting part and where Kelly was most comfortable. She sounded SO GOOD! And I loved seeing it live.

The whole thing was an interesting experience. As a born and raised New Yorker, I hated the way all the NBC staff and KCS staff talked to the audience as if we are dumb tourists lol, but I guess most of them were! And that's the way all shows with live audiences are, but man they make you degrade yourself with the dancing and clapping lol.

The guest was Uma Thurman and I LOVED seeing her in person. Kelly was so beautiful and cute and charming as ever but still struggles with interviewing, she is all over the place! And has this nervous energy that made ME nervous at first. It was very noticeable because Uma is so poised and elegant. Kelly warmed up and got more comfortable though as the interview went on.

Overall I am glad I went and Kelly is such an adorable, humble person. She was gorgeous in person and so close! She was really gracious to the audience, taking time to talk with a few people. An old lady gave her a bracelet that said "invincible" on it haha.

Lawerence Zavian was there promoting some QVC products and was super annoying and way too high energy but he and Kelly had fun. She seemed charmed by him, does he regularly appear on the show?

Lawrence is usually on 2-3 times per month or so. He and Kelly have a very flirty rapport. Their infomercial segment is always filled with sexual innuendos, but he identifies as gay. Their chemistry turns what is usually a tedious segment on most shows into a really enjoyable part of the show.

Same. Chappell has gotten a lot of plays from me all because Kelly sang a minute of Good Luck, Babe! She also reintroduces me to songs I haven't listened to in awhile. It's weird to me when artists don't want Kelly to cover their songs. I guess if you're already a big star and money and numbers don't really matter anymore, then it makes sense.

The social media team is driving me nuts right now. I don't have time to watch her shows right now so I watch clips on Instagram and nowhere does it say who the guest is. I usually have to scroll through comments to find it. It's very odd.

People are usually disgusting and think they can say and comment whatever they want on artists on their own accounts as if they were just fictional characters
Im not a fan of Chappel by any means, but I can see how something like that could affect anyone, especially on their level
