Thursday: Kellyoke: "You Lie"; Rita Wilson; Rosemarie DeWitt; Good Neighbor of the Year: Teachers Like Me (Kansas City); Judy Greer and Pete Holmes; Tank and the Bangas perform.
Friday: Kellyoke: "Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die"; Julianna Margulies; Megan Hilty; Dominique Ansel demo; the Great Elephant Migration; The Heavy Heavy perform.

Did Kelly talk about her experience at the RRHOF show yet on her talk show? I don't always catch every episode/full episode but I was wondering if she mentioned the experience at all

Love that Halloween is such a fun tradition for her show. Definitely the best costume and production to date, but obv my least favorite actual Kellyoke lol.
“I Put A Spell On You” reigns for at least another year.

Seeing her dressed up had me laugh out loud. The performance was super fun but definitely not meant to showcase anything other than the outfit and set lol.
I wish she had better experiences when she did acting because she is honestly great.

That "Sleigh Ride" cover doesn't do much for me. I kinda wish if Atlantic wanted their own UTT they just kept pushing SCYHM, that seems to have far more potential than YFC.
If Christmas project was what she had her sights on for this year, my dream would have been to rerecord (or simply rerelease) Wrapped In Red and come out with a dual album, with Side A being Red and Side B being Blue that emphasized a distinction in mood for wherever you're at for the holidays. Which is basically what I've already done with my playlisting lol, plus the magical addition of "River."

Blessed My favorite part about being on Pulse is the members uncanny ability to help me experience Kelly music in new ways. The original tracklists of WIR and WCCA were starting to get a little bland to me. Looking forward to spicing up the tracklisting of her Christmas music to spice it up like the 5 stages of grief version of chemistry we got a while back. As I said earlier, I need her to do Broadway at some point soon but I also need her to do a Christmas concert, residency or something along those lines sometime soon. It is far too late for her to do it this year, but I would hope that she would announce plans for a concert well in advance so that I can actually save money for it plan accordingly. |

My yearly complaint that RCA and now Atlantic never have copies of her Christmas albums in stores. Both albums have been very successful and there is no reason they shouldn’t be on the shelf next to Mariah and Michael Buble. It drives me bonkers every year.

She's apparently doing "Please Please Please" as a Kellyoke next week and I've been wanting her to do that but as a broken down, sad, acoustic-y version, because the lyrics can play quite emotional actually with a different vocal performance and think that could be a cool moment for her.
