Even on radio: reggaeton and regional Mexicana have their own stations and airplay charts and rarely crossover so they are not the same genre. If language is your only parameters for genre, pls change your parameters. You would never say these songs are the same genre just because of language

Search & Rescue is bleeding streams like I thought it would. It really had me going for a moment there that it wouldn't. Further proof that Drake fans don't just blindly support any/everything he puts out long-term. If they're not feeling it, they'll withdraw their support and hold off till he drops something they rock with.

You're right. I thought about this for a while and realized I had a wrong way of thinking that can come off as disrespectful. I'm sorry. From now on I'm gonna work on not mentally grouping all songs of another language together when there's actually noticeably distinct genres 👍

Chemical actually debuted at #2 on US Spotify because clean + explicit were not combined, so it went -3 with -24%. That's a slightly better hold than ORN, but not his earlier singles.
It peaked at #33 on US AM now at #38. Will see how it holds as the week progresses, but it seems like it'll debut around top 15.

To be fair though, for purposes of Billboard and the charts we discuss on this forum, they're all lumped together as one. ie. "Hot Latin Songs" and what not.

(I know you didn't respond to my post, but for me being Latin, I didn't find your post disrespectful -- so don't sweat it. I just wanted to make it clear they were in no way the same genr./)

Heat Waves probably got a boost due to the actual heat waves across the country (which is now over, at least where I live)
