Artist: Kip Moore Single: Damn Love Album: Damn Love Label: MCA Nashville Impact Date: 1st May, 2023 (AllAccess) Writers: Jason Gantt, Jaren Johnston & James McNair
A familiar "new single impact radio the same week as album release" strategy.

Kip is so, so good but you would never know based off his single releases. This is average and will likely be the most forgettable track on the upcoming album

This is my fav thing Kip has released since his downfall with Good Life, so Iâm happy with this single choice. The chorus melody is pretty catchy, and the production is also good. While I cannot see this becoming a big hit, hopefully this can do better than his previous two singles.

The interesting thing to me is that I am pretty sure that "Kinda Bar" was the planned single... At least, that's the vibe I got from the wording when I pre-ordered the album a few weeks ago.

I'm not surprised because this is how I usually feel about Kip Moore when I press 'play' but... this is terrible. The production sounds so cheap and dated in parts, the melody is bland, and his vocals continue to be some of the worst I've heard from the country landscape. I don't see this returning him back to the top 10/20 on the charts.

Not an awful start but kind of tepid as this got 25 adds on add week. I personally don't hear a hit with this song.

This is doing awful even by Kipâs standards. Itâs even on the Spotify hot country playlist and itâs still failing to chart. I would be very surprised to see him get another radio single anytime soon.

He did announce this was his last album with UMG so I can't imagine they were going to push this very hard.

This appears to be officially done as it is down to two spin leaders. Really disappointing to see it do this horribly and I hope itâs not the end for Kip.

I do think it would probably be the end of Kip Moore at UMG just because his last few singles have completely flopped and it's been a few years now since his last Top 20 ("She's Mine"). I like Kip Moore more than most but it's clear his country radio career is pretty much done at this point.
