This album is incredible, especially as a debut effort. There's so many delightfully strong melodies, delicious neo-traditional fluorishes all throughout the production, and great diverse songwriting. Another perfect example of why female country artists deserve so much better. Thankfully "Tennessee Orange" seems to be a true bonafide smash in a way that few females receive, so I am HOPING that it carries into a successful album era for Megan here because she deserves to have another 2-3 major radio hits off this superb record. I'm only two listens through so far, but the quality on display with Lucky has me very excited for her future career.

One of the best debut albums I’ve heard in a long time.

She’s one of my faves of the new females emerging. Definitely think she’s going to be a female vocalist front runner in the upcoming years. The album is stellar. Hoping “Lucky” & “Girl in the mirror” get to be singles eventually. Traitor Joe is currently on repeat. Need that as a single too.
idk why but she kinda reminds me of Carrie when she first started.

Any word on how much this sold in the first week? I was just looking, HITS only has to top 20 so far and it’s not there. I feel like she’d do decently for a debut with the success of TO and her social media following so I’m curious to find out.

Pretty dang good #’s coming out the gate. That’s even more than Lainey did and she has a lot more exposure/hype than Megan right now.

I think her 3rd album era will have even bigger debut. As for Megan Moroney, the debut number is obviously carried by Tennessee Orange but the song itself got a solid boost from album release, so I think there is decent interest in her.

"Fix You Too" is immaculate. Kameron Marlowe's voice with hers is a perfect fit. LOVE. Definitely a nice twist on the original solo track from her EP last year. "Nothin' Crazy" has an insatiable melody. That uber country ditty sound is just great. Mackenzie sounds good with Megan here as well. She picked some good duet partners for these new tracks. "Reasons to Stay" is a nice new endcap for the project. She does the waltzes SO well; Megan has the perfect voice for conveying heartbreak. Love the lyrical content here too. Stone cold country.
Nice additions to the record. Lucky is definitely solidly within my top 5 releases for me this year. Rooting for Megan to be up there on a similar level to Lainey Wilson in the coming years.
