Not an error on the Aerosmith. It's certified Gold for the physical single. It's 5x Platinum for the digital (check the trivia note under the title).

Ordering this tomorrow. Looks great.
Still wish it was one big "Rock Era" tome, but at least the title counts continue from vol 1.

Just ordered mine - love the book
I too prefer the single volume.
If I wanted to look up an artist that was big pre-1990 and post-1990 like Madonna or Michael Jackson for example, I would probably refer to my 2018 copy rather than open two books

Thanks to everybody who ordered a copy. We broke the company record for most books sold in one day!

I'm with you and hopefully the next edition will be back to a single volume! Just ordered my copy tonight. I've been waiting for this one - fully understand the delay with the passing of Joel and his wife. I echo this and Gary's comment, would be nice to have all in one book but the 2018 volume is literally falling apart for me. The spine detached and everything, it's just too big and heavy so I don't know... maybe just periodically updating the 1990- book would be best. Outside of personal artist notes, nothing much would change in the 1955-1989 book so it could be considered "archived". Congratulations on a great achievement. I'm sure it was a huge project.

The book is currently at the printer and will be in stock in a few weeks. We will be hiring extra help to get them all shipped out as soon as they arrive.

I'm glad that Record Research continues forward as I've always been a fan and admire the passion/dedication for the music and the charts. It's pretty exciting when these books come in the mail... just like it was when I bought my first copy as a teen. Crazy to think how much has changed since then too.

Artists that had 24 hits or more. BTW, it only works out to 3% of all artists!
