Flowers has been in the top 3 its entire run, right? I’m sure it’s not quite challenging for any records yet, but what are the stats on longest top 3 runs? Both total and consecutive?

^As It Was has the record at 29 weeks. Flowers would be entering a tie for fifth most weeks if it manages to stay in the top 3 of the Hot 100 at 19 weeks with Smooth, That's What I Like, Despacito and AIWFCIY.

Is Cruel Summer viral on TikTok or something? Or it's just that Taylor Swift has such an enormous fanbase that they can decide to suddenly stream a song of hers and send it back to the Hot100?
The song is great but such a resurgance of an album track is not that common (also I would like to know who was responsible for the two first singles of Lover which can contest to be among the worst songs she has ever put out, when they had THIS on the same album)

I think it's mostly a fanbase thing - a fanbase that has been waiting 4 years for Cruel Summer to be a hit, in addition to how people are revisiting her catalog because of tour + summer being around the corner

It has always been a fan favorite and somewhat viral ever since its release, and has gotten a resurgence every summer, with this one being the largest.

As for the single choices from Lover, I agree that ME! was the absolute worst choice from such a great album, where literally almost every other song would've been much better. I do really like You Need to Calm Down though. Lover and The Man were meh but decent choices, but yes, Cruel Summer absolutely would've been a great choice.

Combining Spotify and Youtube, the song has collected a little more than 4 million streams in 6 days...so no, the streaming numbers are not red hot. Do not expect anything in the US except for the dance charts. However it may have a handsome debut in the UK (potential Top 40 entry) and probably, Australia and Ireland.
