It's interesting too, because out of the 4 (soon to be 5 with Morgan sadly getting there), "The Box" is the only one to be dominant throughout the majority of its run at the top. I find it more interesting how all the other four came back to the top for three or more runs, I don't think any double digit #1 did that before fraudulent "Butter".

Even though it's far from the biggest album to ever drop, the continued growth for Across the Spider-Verse's soundtrack is really curious. Genuinely have never seen an album grow immediately in popularity as the days have gone on. Yes, you can tie it to the movie's success as well but I think that's only part of the source. Songs don't have longevity off by brief uses in media, people are vibing with outside of the film.

^ The soundtrack is a grower for sure, I thought it was pretty mid when I listened to it on Friday but after seeing the movie yesterday I've been vibing with the tracks. The context of the movie makes the soundtrack better, the way some of the songs are used, Calling in particular is becoming one of my favorites.

The real test is seeing if anything from it sticks around after the film's hype dies down, Sunflower stuck around way longer than the film and took on a life of it's own.

I would LOVE if Self Love became a hit. It might be my favorite Coi Leray song and it deserves to be her biggest hit.

It helped that Sunflower was a Post Malone song and it got released in the middle of his insane dominance, so much so to the point where the movie’s success and his superstardom made the song became arguably his biggest hit as well at the time.

There really isn’t a really huge artist like Posty on this project, but this also gives the soundtrack an opportunity to make anything from it the biggest hit.

I think we knew the chart was week when Flowers and Calm Down are competing for second best and neither are lighting up any chart besides airplay lmao.

One moderately big release and it probably sweeps 6 spots in the top 10 with no effort lol. Olivia will have NO trouble clearing Last Night.
