Bruno Mars last album was a collab with Anderson Paak that is 70s soul inspired. His last solo album was in 2016 with 24K Magic. These are the routes Bruno Mars could take in his next album:
Early 2000s Neptunes/Timbaland: 2000s nostalgia is on full throttle right now. The productions of Neptunes and Timbaland were bouncy and funky making them perfect for Bruno Mars to attempt.
90s R&B: This is the decade that Bruno Mars hasn’t covered yet. His next album could be 90s inspired with the likes of TLC, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, Keith Sweat, Blackstreet, Jodeci, and R Kelly(Yes I know he’s a monster but he is very influential in the 90s R&B scene).

Finesse had a 90's New Jack Swing sound and Please Me was sort of like a Jodeci ballad . that would be a good sound to continue on. edit Bruno invited Babyface to perform with him last night at his show . he was the best songwriter of the late 80's and 90's . i would be here for a colab or something similar to what he did back then.

Honestly, I hope he switches up his sound. The whole throwback sound he’s been doing since 2013 is very worn out now. I want something new and fresh from Bruno. I like Uptown Funk and his 24k Magic album, but by the time his Silk Sonic stuff dropped, I was over this sound.

Babyface co-wrote "Too Good To Say Goodbye" which was featured on the 24K Magic album. As for the thread, I'd definitely be down for 2000s Neptunes/TImbaland or 60s Motown.

I want the male version of Tweet’s Southern Hummingbird from Bruno. A smooth and serene acoustic soul album with ethereal alternative R&B sounds.

The album that never ends... I mean 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY' out now!

I don't particularly know what sound he should go for but it needs to be something he's never done before because his last few albums have just felt like the same sound over and over again. He found a lane that works for him (at least according to the charts) but he needs to branch out a bit because it's gotten boring. Unpopular opinion but his first album is my favorite by him. Everything since is just not my thing.

I want Bruno to experiment with the early 2000’s hip hop sound. If he did an album like that, I would download it because that’s the time when I was a kid.
