Writers are Luke Combs, Ray Fulcher, Erik Dylan and Thomas Archer.
Written years ago. Great song, 2000s sounding country and perfect for Dillon.

This is rather good and I feel like this could be the song that gets him into the top 20 with a good adds date.

This one is alright. The melody and lyrics are not too unique or memorable, but still more enjoyable than the dreadful Son Of A, so I would not mind seeing this on the chart, as long as it does not clog the chart for a year.

Pretty much how I feel as well. This is... fine. It feels a bit cluttery and loud in the production department, and the melody and lyrical content are incredibly generic. But it doesn't have an incredibly dumb and grating hook the way "Son of A" had, so it's immediately a step up from that at least. I don't hear a big hit with this though, and I'd actually be surprised if this did any better than scrape the top 40, and given his track record it probably won't get that far until next March or something.

This picked up a handful more adds (10+) this week which leaves me optimistic that it will be a decent hit. I see this debuting on the chart in 2-4 weeks and making a slow climb up like “Son Of A” did.

Debuts at #58 this week on Billboard. Kind of shocked that out of this, Brett Young, and Dierks Bentley this was the one to debut on Billboard first. Very encouraging start for this song.

It helps it’s gotten 10 or more adds the last two weeks. For a Dillon Carmichael song this has a lot of radio buzz and might be his chance to breakout which I’m really rooting for as he in my opinion is one of the best male vocalists in the genre.

If you guys couldn’t tell from before I couldn’t be more happy with how well this is doing with adds and even airplay. Dillion seems like such a humble and great guy and a very strong vocalist so to see him getting a pretty strong start is amazing considering his three last songs took a while to do anything.

Thank goodness, this song finally went to recurrent after 46 weeks. The number of posts in this thread is consistent with how impactful this song was. He has some decent songs, and I can appreciate his neotraditional approach, but he really needs a song that can move needles, as his streaming interest is so low and he is yet to put his name on Hot Country chart after 5 radio singles, some of which were minor radio hits, including this. Honestly surprised that Riser House is still trying him on radio.

I'm not shocked that Riser House keeps trying with him radio wise as there is at least some level of interest with him and country radio given the fact his last two songs made the Top 30 on Mediabase and Riser House as a label isn't the strongest. He does need a song that connect from a streaming point though if he wants any longevity.

Thankfully this finally went recurring. Lasting a year without going top 30 is definitely an issue.

Man, this guy churns out the catchiest tunes, with a great voice and stellar 2000’s country sound and can’t buy a hit. Tough not being a pretty boy with a viral TikTok video 🤦🏻♂️

Eh it's hard for me to feel too bad for him since this song never even cleared 1 million streams on Spotify, and meanwhile there are songs with over 10 million streams on Spotify that never even cracked the Top 30 on either chart with radio, ("Something's Gonna Kill Me", "If He Wanted To He Would", "Hearts They Didn't Break", "Last Rodeo", "Drive You Out Of My Mind", "Feel Like This", and "Shoot Tequila" off the top of my head within the last year or so). His label is great at getting him radio airplay but he doesn't have much consumer interest and that is still a big part in country music.
