My b for the double post but this is #25 on Shazam, probably the highest I’ve seen an urban AC exclusive hit that high pretty much ever. I think this will smash on urban ac and hope the streams pick up a bit.
Edit: the single is #6 r&b iTunes and music video #3 r&b videos. The album is #1 r&b albums/#55 overall.

Man this one is killing on Shazam, iTunes and picking up on Spotify. I could see a Ron Isley ‘Make me say it’ type performance on r&b radio from this with MAD longevity.

My b for the double post but this is inching up to top 10 on Shazam and got a 600k gain on overall radio bringing it closer to top 80. I think this is going to be a huge r&b hit and right now, wouldn’t be surprised to see some kind of crossover push.

ICU, This Is, PUYF got solid urban radio love but this is a throwback r&b sound I haven’t heard on urban radio in a LONG time and if it connects, I truly feel a shift coming. |

Surprised this got snubbed at the Grammys! It's having huge success for a traditional R&B song....I thought it would have been a shoe-in for "Best Traditional R&B Performance"...but then I looked and saw the label didn't submit the track in that category...they went for the more mainstream R&B Performance category, so I think that's where they went wrong. It would have had way more chance of being nominated in Traditional R&B, especially with Kenyon Dixon being nominated there.
