there have been many debates on who the king or father of Rock & Roll is over the decades and also the queen or mother as well. a good candidate for that is Sister Rosetta Tharpe who was rocking the guitar all the way back in the 1930's .this song released in 1944 was her biggest hit on the r&b chart peaking at #2.
