I'm not really sold on this guy yet. Wild As Her was a fine song, but his version was definitely inferior to the Tyler Joe Miller's, and I don't really care for the melody of this song. There are a few decent songs on the album, but compared with other new male artists, such as Nate Smith or Conner Smith, he's pretty weak imo.

I actually like his voice, something about it just connects with me. It's nothing amazing but it works for me and this song is one I like a bit especially due to the chorus melody.

I’ve seen Corey play since our college days at Oklahoma State when he was Corey White. His growth as an artist has been fun to watch. He’s a guy with solid talent, but knows exactly who he is which makes him capable of the success he’s seen. I really enjoy the angle and feel of this song.

Second most added with 33 adds and 34 total historic adds this week. I think despite the lower add total this will do fine considering the big market Texas stations are jumping on to help this and the solid streaming numbers.

Hmmm...This is kinda good? "Wild as Her" clicked with me when it was like legit Top 10 so I am wondering if I maybe like this guy. I will have to dive into him a little more.

This is a pretty good follow-up to what I thought was a strong debut with “Wild As Her”. He has a defined Americana style that really makes him stick out among other new artists. Feels like the halfway point between mainstream country and artists like Jason Isbell and Zach Bryan.

I expressed myself poorly; I actually didn't hear the album in full, just a bunch of random songs my friend played for me cuz he loves Corey Kent. I didn't really like any of them, but I do like this one, hence my comment lol. But now that you're here, did you like "Wild As Her" it was so good! And how do you feel about this one! I want to be a fan of Corey; but overall, haven't liked much of the material I've hears sadly.

"Man of the House" is my favorite thing of his so far, and I also love "BiC Flame." This and "Wild as Her" are both good as well, though I like them a bit less than those two album tracks.

Truthfully his first single grew on me once it became a hit and I actually dig this one too and it’s streaming well. For some reason tho, I feel a Dylan Scott type career for him in the long run in that he’ll build a name with slow rising radio hits that actually stream well (including solid album track streams as well), be a strong opener/decent touring artist, but it not translating to an A- list level career.

I got sick of Wild as Her pretty quickly, it just blended in with the monotony of endless songs about girls from Dylan Scott/Russell Dickerson/Jordan Davis/etc (I am still not convinced they aren't simply the same person cloned repeatedly for maximum profit potential) but this is much more interesting.

Corey Kent released a new song titled "This Heart"
Also this song was recently certified Gold. Which makes "Something's Gonna Kill Me" struggles all the more frustrating as this has spent the last 3 weeks without a bullet on Billboard Airplay. I wasn't expecting this song to race up the charts but I am shocked to see how much this has struggled to gain any traction, heck the call-out isn't even that bad (#38 on MMI). I do hope this turns things around as I really like Corey Kent's music.

This has just continued to grow on me. I hate the long chart runs but I hope this turns it around because I don’t want to see him flop and never be heard of again. I think he has more potential than most of the new crop of males do.

This Heart is a smash, so okay if they fall off this to go that route.
But you are right - frustrating that this wasn’t a hit. The general public clearly supports it

Went recurrent on Billboard this week. Kind of sad this only scraped the Top 40 and that's it as I really thought with how it was connecting it would marathon chart run and eventually take off. This song really deserved better imo.

Really shocked this one struggled so much. Corey definitely seemed like he had more hype to him than a lot of the newer males that have managed to get follow-up hits. I feel like this is a fluke though and he'll bounce back with something fresh later this year.
