It's always neat when a song has the same intro and outro. So basically if you were to turn the radio on at that part, you wouldn't know if you caught the song from the beginning or the end. Take these examples.
Nickelback - "Photograph" - The song starts and ends with the classic 3 chord strum followed by the lyrics "Look at this photograph! Every time I do it makes me laugh."
Marc Cohn - "Walking in Memphis" - Also, hard to distinguish the beginning and end here, as both parts have the same piano tune followed by the lyrics "I put on my blue suede shoes and I boarded the plane. Touchdown in the land of the Delta Blues in the middle of the pouring rain."
Hootie and the Blowfish - "Time" - Both the beginning and end of the song have that same super 90s guitar riff followed by the lyrics "Time, why do you punish me?"
Any more good examples of this technique?
