Faithfully by Journey.
The song was the #81 song of 1983 and peaked at #12.
How many weeks did it chart?
No looking it up or looking at other people’s answers! Guess if you have to, and you may even get it right!

Rainie who guessed 12 did not get it right. However, someone else did.
Even in the SoundScan era (1992-present), it has been possible for a song to peak at #12, chart for 16-19 weeks, and end up #81 in the year-end.
Colson is the one who got it right, with 16.
However, even the biggest hits of 1983 would chart for much less time than the ones today. Faithfully’s 16 TW has actually been weighted to 26 TW in the 2000s’ TW, due to its era’s x1.6 multiplier.
Faithfully also spent three weeks at its #12 peak, which has been weighted to five.
