Another solid effort that's comfortably in his wheelhouse, and while I like this set maybe slightly more overall than his last EP, there's still just no runaway career song to be found that will reverse his downward trend commercially. It's a shame because the potential was there for him to be a big star, but the spark is just not there with his material lately. It's all "good" (at least to me as a fan of his style), but there hasn't been a slam dunk choice for radio in quite awhile at this point.

I agree, and I think they made a huge mistake pivoting from his second album so soon. There are 2-3 more big hits left unreleased there, and in the time even 1 more single took to climb the chart, he could have crafted a solid 12 track third record instead of these mediocre 8 song EP offerings. I think they thought “Lady” was really something but it was boring and he hasn’t recovered (even though I loved “You Didn’t.”)

Another solid album, but not sure Dance With You was a good single choice. It sounds like Lady pt.2, and even though it has a nice melody, not sure it is strong enough to regain the momentum. I just wish that they gave You Ain't Here To Kiss Me (2022) a chance, like what was the point of re-recording it if it ends up being another album track??
Among the new tracks, Love Goes On is my fav. I liked this song back in October 2022 at his show, and the studio version is also well-done. Still, nothing is as impressive as YAHTKM.
