Tbh, I was kinda expecting Melanie to sound more enthusiastic, but instead she sounded like she was reading off the script the whole time. Even the bumpers coming in/out of breaks seemed more generic this time compared to other guest hosts whose bumpers often had references to their songs in them.

I agree, but I don't like when the computer-generated voices are trying to be funny when coming back from a break segment or when the guest host has to say some ridiculous reason why Ryan is out.

Melanie never said that Ryan will be back next week, so we might get another guest host. I will keep saying this, Ryan makes the show more entertaining than these guest hosts.

Personal Observation: I've observed that most female guest hosts on AT40 usually play either "Low" by Flo Rida & T-Pain, or "Yeah!" by Usher feat. Lil Jon and Ludacris.

I agree Melanie was so monotone before reading anyone else thoughts it was exactly what I was thinking definitely sounded like it was not flowing but rather read word by word. I feel most of the guest hosts do a great job other than lil john who was very annoying. I just don't like the format change with guest hosts answering silly questions like what they eat for breakfast. Although the fill in host from the Vanderpump rules did a great job a few weeks ago I don't like these non top 40 related people doing the show wasting 15 minutes of my life talking about stuff most of the listeners have no interest in.

This has the be the biggest gap in Total weeks on the chart difference between the number 1 and 2 songs ever (32 week gap). Cruel Summer by Taylor Swift is at an infant 7 week chart run while the most played song of the year ‘Calm Down’ by Rema featuring Selena Gomez is at an incredible 39 weeks. What an expected run by this artist Rema. Wow
