After working ZB's show here two weeks ago, I was a bit surprised that his fans skewed that young. 20K attendance and they spent a lot of $$$ on merchandise. He outpaced far more well-known established acts. Pretty sure that's been repeated during his current tour.
I figured he'd do well out of the gate because the fans definitely want more.

I don't see how Zach gets a number one if his streaming is behind RMNOR. I'd like it but he's not someone who's historically gotten big radio debuts or sales weeks, so streaming is the best option he has.

Should be a fun week with Zach Bryan, Miley, Selena, and Snooze and PTTR rising. Along with anything from Drake or Olivia, looks like there will be a solid roster of new hits for the next few weeks. But it’s strange why so many big artists are releasing music now when they had all summer.

Will Zach be able to pull in Morgan’s numbers? He’s nowhere near as big of a name so it’ll be tough, plus that opening number was 502k.
Or maybe he’ll be more of a smaller album bomb like Lil Durk.

Zach will not be able to pull Morgan numbers streaming wise, but it'll be the closest any one will get to Morgan's level. Plus overall numbers, Zach doesn't have any physical copies out until October.

Plus overall numbers, Zach doesn't have any physical copies out until October. Do you think that he’ll at least have a song on the album as big as Last Night was? Definitely not. It'll be hard for ANY country artist (besides maybe Morgan himself, and even that'll still be hard) to replicate the success of Last Night. Something in the Orange did so well for Zach and had lasting power because it's quite pop friendly. Zach has pop adjacent songs on the album -- but overall leans more into his Americana style that may do amazing on streaming but not necessarily on Top 40 radio. I do think he'll have a few songs stick around though.

I feel like country has been this popular all the time but streaming has just started catching up in the areas where it was big which caused this "sudden" rise

This Zach Bryan album will be huge in the US. Amazing debut and very positive reactions. He has a big space to grow and it'll grow for sure.

If the country rumours for Bey‘s next album/act are true, I’m really curious how she’s gonna perform on streaming with country as a genre now catching up in that field.

Holy shit. I mean, i thought Zach would get an album bomb (even if it would've been neutered because Drake) but i didn't think it'd be like this.

If the country rumours for Bey‘s next album/act are true, I’m really curious how she’s gonna perform on streaming with country as a genre now catching up in that field. Honestly, probably not good. Let's be real, the country industry is still resistant (to put it mildly) to Black people and women, and then her core audience isn't likely to be excited about a country album. If she went country she'd surely break records for a Black woman making country music, but she herself would likely get lower numbers than she otherwise would. It's not a coincidence that every country artist as of late who has gotten into the top 10 of the Hot 100 - Morgan Walgreens, Luke Combs, Blackface Aldean, Oliver Anthony, Zach Bryan, even going back to Sam Hunt - is a white male.

At least Zach Bryan is decent. If country artists will get more album bombs in the future, it better be interesting(Not reactionary) ones like Kacey Musgraves or Chris Stapleton.

Chris Stapleton will perform more likely to Luke Combs.
The wild card is actually Tyler Childers, which is two weeks later. Funny most early Zach Bryan fans are Tyler Childers fans first, then new ZB fans became TC fans.

I don't wanna jinx it, but not Kacey on the brink of scoring her first top 10 hit on the Hot 100 on the 10th year anniversary of me becoming a stan... I feel so seen by the universe

Oliver Anthony sold 120k second week, down slightly from 148k in first week. The sales held up incredibly well, likely due to the conservative media promo.
But the hype has died down on the 3rd week, with conservative media not promoting the song anymore. It may start free-falling down like Jason Aldean's 3rd week sales. Assuming a 50% drop, Oliver will likely sell 60k this week.
Sales = 60 (assuming 50% drop) Airplay = 2 Stream = 160 (assuming 10% drop) Total = 222
And suddenly Luke Combs/Taylor Swift are fighting for #1 with about 230 chart points. Ironically, this week is legit a 3-horse race for #1, but both Luke and Taylor ended their 69 cents discount.

It will be hilarious if a Zach Bryan's song rises to #1 and both Luke and Taylor get blocked for another week.
