BTW the optional extras are different from the ones on CHR since Chance the Rapper doesn't get played on Hot AC (I'm surprised they didn't get another sub host for Hot AC). Does anybody remember when was the last time Premiere aired different optionals for CHR and Hot AC?

FYI, on March 19, 2022, GAYLE guest-hosted the CHR show and Pat Monahan of Train guest-hosted the Hot AC show.
However, the same set of Optional Extras were played in both shows. 4 Train songs were played in the Hot AC show only as regular extras.

As a side note, I found that the optional extras were introduced in January 2005.  
In 2004, besides top 40 songs, Last week's #1, extra(s), AT40 Rewind, Double Play, and "Out of the Box" song were played in the show.

It’s worth nothing DJ Khaled’s “I’m The One” (which Chance was featured in) did actually hit AT40’s Hot AC chart in 2017 so they could’ve at least played that one in one of the optional extras
