NEW RELEASE: BRYAN'S BLASTOFF

Warner's Zach Bryan is on pace for a #1 debut on next week's HITS Top 50 with his self-titled album. The LP is tracking for 200m+ on-demand audio streams its first week, as fans lifted Bryan to #1 at both Apple Music and Spotify its first day.

Available only digitally so far, Zach Bryan is projecting for a first week total of 175-205k.

Bryan earned boatloads of fans with his breakthrough, last year's American Heartbreak. He goes deeper on Zach Bryan, which features collaborations with Grammy winner Kacey Musgraves and Americana faves The Lumineers and The War and Treaty. The Oklahoman also gets behind the piano for a good chunk of the album, adding another layer to his soulful output.

Warner’s Zach Bryan will open at #1 on Friday’s HITS Top 50, his self-titled release besting the debut of previous album American Heartbreak, which opened at #5 in May of last year. With a physical version of the album not expected until later this year, Zach Bryan could see on-demand audio streams account for around 90% of its first week activity.

Reappearing in this week’s Top 20 are Tyler, The Creator’s CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST (Columbia), surging thanks to a fresh shipment of vinyl, and Miley Cyrus’ Endless Summer Vacation (Columbia), which is reacting to her new single, "Used To Be Young."

Taylor’s tour left the USA in mid August and will now be on a hiatus until November. How much longer can we expect her albums to continue selling at this level? So far streaming hasn’t really died down much (I can only tell from Spotify of course).

A #1 BOW FOR BRYAN

Warner’s Zach Bryan scores his first #1 on the HITS Top 50 with the debut of his self-titled LP. With no physical product, Zach Bryan tops the chart with 199k behind 230m+ first-week streams.

Bryan’s 16-track album includes the week’s most-streamed song, “I Remember Everything” f/Kacey Musgraves, which earned both singer-songwriters their first chart-topping all-genre single. Meanwhile, American Heartbreak, Bryan’s 34-track 2022 breakthrough, rises to #14 this week.

Travis Scott’s UTOPIA (Cactus Jack/Epic) slides to #2 after a four-week run atop the chart. The year’s most successful rap set posts 92k in its fifth week.

Republic's Taylor Swift has three titles in the Top 10, led by Midnights at #4, while Big Loud/Mercury's Morgan Wallen holds the #3 and #10 positions with One Thing at a Time and Dangerous: The Double Album, respectively.

Columbia has two re-entries in the Top 20 as Tyler, The Creator's CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST gets a vinyl boost to #12 and Miley Cyrus' Endless Summer Vacation soars to #17 with the addition of "Used To Be Young."
