His debut album released on November 19, 1991. The album was certified Platinum. It peaked at #38 on the Billboard 200 and #5 on R&B/Hip Hop Albums.
The album was produced by Quincy Jones, Al B.Sure!, Narada Michael Walden, Prince, Arthur Baker, and Kyle West.
What are your fave tracks from the album. My most played tracks are these two Al B. Sure!'s "Alone With You" and "Goodbye". I'm a huge fan of Al B. Sure!'s work, so to me, they sound very similar Al B.'s second and third album. I also love the tracks "Strawberry Letter 23", "Confused", "She's All That", "One Song", "Perfect World", and "Look What We'd Have". "Look What We'd Have" and "One Song", in particular, feel similar to the early works of Celine and Mariah.

"Just Ask Me To" #88 Hot 100, #9 R&B/Hip Hop
