Karma - the song is OK, but really basic. lbr, it's #10 because of Taylor...but again, in this competition it's probably fair? I'd only switch its place with Calm Down.
Flowers - idk...I'm so tired of it, but it's a good song. I can name at least 10 Miley songs that deserve this level of success.
Creepin' - it could've been my #3 since the top 3 was really close, but I guess I'm biased. Abel delivered.
Snooze - I like it, but not one of my fave SZA songs. It'll definitely be somewhere in my top 30 of the 23 YE RD.
Fast Car - this is really nice, but I don't really care for it. I think it'll be one of the most forgettable big hits of the decade for me.

6. ok...you don't have to tell me this isn't as good as the og but i'm just gonna say it. 2022 and 2023 have been quite challenging years for me with both good and bad times, and this song, both this cover and the original have helped me refind myself, for that reason alone i just had to rank it #1

Yes, Luke Combs’ Fast Car is really well executed and is much better than the other country songs in this rankdown (which made up my bottom 4 ranks). That being said, Tracy Chapman’s original version would be my #1 if it were in this rankdown.

10. I enjoy "Karma" quite a bit, and find the somewhat cringey lyrics to be cute <3
9. I like this, but I am burnt out on it right now from the excessive overplay.
8. I've enjoyed this song quite a bit since it first came out, and surprisingly haven't gotten tired of it. Really solid track.
7. Hot take, but this is my favorite of the singles from SOS.
6. This is pretty decent, but I'm honestly just kinda indifferent to this.
Still doing really well! I expected my #15 to be one of the last ones out. It's very popular on here, and I consider it good but it's another one I don't have any strong feelings about.

Overplay or no overplay, Flowers is a mid ass song. I never got the appeal or why this blew up as big as it did.

01. Dua Lipa - Dance The Night
> Simply a stellar pop bop. Dua Lipa has mastered this specific lane and this song is her final graduation thesis.
02. Olivia Rodrigo - vampire
> What an exciting song for her to kick off her sophomore era. Love the production and vocal delivery here, and "famefucker" is a great addition to the dictionary.
03. SZA - Kill Bill
> One of the most undeniable smashes of the year, SZA is truly the shining star of 2023 in my eyes.
04. Taylor Swift - Cruel Summer
> Speaking of stars, Taylor Swift is like the sun. Inescapable. Cruel Summer is at least decent, even though I find it uninspired and reductive within the context of her discography and entirely middle-of-the-road on Lover.
05. Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero
> Y'all know how I feel about this... 1,000 steps forward for Taylor Swift, 1,000,000 steps back for the art of songwriting.
TL;DR — rooting for Dance the Night or Vampire for the win, but Kill Bill would make a solid winner as well. If y'all HAVE to make white mediocrity #1, at least go with Cruel Summer for the love of our god-given hearing sense.

10. I kinda wish Lavender Haze was as big as this but this isn’t much worse.

8. This has shrunk on me over the year (not just because of the overplay) but this is still good.
7. Meanwhile I would’ve put this higher now than I did when I originally ranked this.
6. Luke Combs has had a really, REALLY good year for me to say that this is his weakest hit this year.
1, 3, 4, 5, 8, tbh this top 5 can go literally any way and i’ll be ok with it.

Karma is def one of 3 songs that marked my summer in Paris.
The other two are: Pink - Never not gonna dance again & Shy'M - Tout va bien
I don't know how Karma got into my head, but it did. I like Taylor but not a fan. I do not like at all Anti-hero or Cruel summer for exemple.

8. Getting overplayed a bit. Don't hate it, tho. (#17)
7. It's a good SZA song, what more do you want? (#10)
