This song is ok, but I would’ve much rather they would’ve chosen “Is It Just Me”. Also still shocked they didn’t get nominated for group of the year at the CMA’s.

Not as instantly catchy as their last few singles but nice of change of pace in terms of tempo for them. Hopefully this continues their hot streak they have found lately.
Also they should have been nominated for Group at the CMA Awards (can someone please explain how Lady A and Little Big Town got nominated over them).

I like this. As said above, this is a good change of pace for them. Wasn’t the biggest fan of “girl in mine”, but I’m rooting for these guys. Hope this is a big song for them

I’ve always found them to be boring and this isn’t any different. That being said it had a nice start today so it looks like their success will continue.

Enters the Mediabase top 50 tonight on the published update. I’ve been hearing this at least twice daily if not more on my local radio station.

I do wanna say the music video is pretty great especially by today's standards. This also makes the Mediabase Top 40 this week at #39, with a bullet of 24. Not great but this song is at a pretty good pace, and continues their run of solid chart runs, I still wish the country music ward shows would at least acknowledge them. But I am happy for their success (even if I thought they were done this time 5 to 6 years ago).

Their comeback is really interesting. They were like totally done a few years back until "Just the Way" exploded and then they followed it up with another huge smash in "Take My Name"... but "Girl in Mine" kinda settled back in as a hit comparable to their earlier days (top 5 on radio, but low impact), so it'll be interesting to see how this ends up doing and if they can continue to keep their momentum up, or if they'll slowly fade back out like in their initial run. JTW and TMN both feel like bigger hit singles than the actual band Parmalee is. They still just feel very under-the-radar as a recording act, so I'm more inclined to feel like their shelf-life isn't long for the country world and the hits over the past few years were just a fluke rather than a total turnaround.
