Damn good album. There's a couple songs on here that are meh/skippable (mostly due to odd production choices, like on "For Someone"), but the majority of this record is top-notch. The production on 75% of the record is just spot-on delightfully country in the best way, and Colbie's voice is just like a warm hug honestly. I've thought she belonged in country music for a long time, ever since I first heard "Realize" back from her debut record. She's had some great contributions to the pop genre over the years, but she really shines on stuff like "Pretend" and "Still Gonna Miss You." Either of those could be a hit on country radio imo. I'm just glad she stuck with it after the Gone West project crashed and burned so early (I do wish we could've seen that group last longer though as the four-part harmonies there were just insanely good), because this is good stuff.

I really like this album, prob my favorite solo album of hers since her debut “Coco”, which imo is a classic. I’ve heard multiple songs from here on the highway but so far nothing to radio. Wonder if they will even bother. I think there are several hit worthy songs on here but the way radio treats ladies, who can blame them?
Next Carrie tour i would love to see Colbie as the opener, she already opened a show for her in michigan a month or 2 ago so why not? I’ve never seen Colbie but have wanted to for years.

I just wanted to chime in and express that this is unquestionably one of my favorite albums of the year. I discovered it through the new releases rankdown, and I must say it didn't disappoint. "Still Gonna Miss You" continues to be a standout track for me as I've had it on repeat recently. Overall, I just find it to be quite seamless and cohesive from start to finish.
