Second studio album released on October 26, 1993. The album sold over 2 million copies, reaching 2x Platinum status. It's his biggest selling album to date. The album was produced by Prince, Quincy Jones, Benny Medina, Prince, Babyface, Narada Michael Walden, and Daryl Simmons. It peaked at #18 Billboard 200 and #3 Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. His debut album was great, but he took it up another notch with this one. He was no longer that giddy-ish, giggling school kid. He was now singing more mature songs on this one. I love all the songs from this favorite. My top faves are "Can We Talk", "I'm Ready", "Don't Say Goodbye Girl", "Always In My Heart", "Shhh...", and "Paris1798430". "Can We Talk" #9 Hot 100, #1 R&B/Hip Hop Songs, #14 Mainstream Top 40, and #3 Rhythmic "Shhh" #45 Hot 100, #8 R&B/Hip Hop Songs "I'm Ready" #9 Hot 100, #2 R&B/Hip Hop Songs, #13 Mainstream Top 40, #2 Rhythmic "Always In My Heart" #20 Hot 100, #6 R&B/Hip Hop Songs, #3 Rhythmic "Don't Say Goodbye Girl" #71 Hot 100, #28 R&B/Hip Songs, #21 Rhythmic "Brown Eyed Girl"

This cd is great. Surprisingly my least favorite tracks were two of the uptempo tracks “Uncle Sam and Paris” which I didn’t dislike I just didn’t listen to them much. For the most part I could basically listen to the whole cd without skipping anything. Well maybe “Shh” at the time. I think I found it kind of drawn out. My favorite track from the cd at the time was never released “What Do I Say”. So many good ones on here.
