STRAY KIDS, STAPLETON ROCK NEW RELEASES

Stray Kids’ ROCK-STAR (JYP/Imperial/Republic) is tracking to a #1 opening on Friday’s HITS Top 50, unseating Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) after a two-week run.

After one day of sales and streams, we’re projecting ROCK-STAR to land in the 225-250k range. This will give Stray Kids its second #1 debut following 5-Star, which opened with 249kin June. Can ROCK-STAR best that total? Stay tuned.

Chris Stapleton’s Higher (Mercury Nashville) is headed toward a Top 5 bow in its first week with projected activity of 80-90k.

Stray Kids’ ROCK-STAR (JYP/Imperial/Republic) will open at #1 as last week’s leader, Taylor Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) (Republic), falls to #2. Meanwhile, Chris Stapleton’s Higher (Mercury Nashville) looks solid for a #3 bow, and Chris Brown’s 11:11 (RCA) is on track for a Top 15 debut. The Beatles’ Red and Blue reissues (Apple Corps/Capitol/UMe) are headed for the Top 20.
